In the game World of Warcraft, there’s a brief vacation-like occasion known as Children’s Week. During this event, players can momentarily take care of orphans from Azeroth’s numerous conflicts and travel across the world, finishing tasks as they go. Although this holiday has had changes in the past, the most significant update was during Battle for Azeroth, introducing new orphans in Boralus and Dazar’alor.

Six years following its last content update, “World of Warcraft” has at long last introduced a wealth of new material for Children’s Week. Four orphans hailing from various notable factions within “World of Warcraft: The War Within” are now up for adoption: Skibbles the Kobold, Destien the Arathi, Kitzy the Goblin, and Threadis the Nerubian. Quests for these children can be obtained from Ullna, the Earthen Matron in Training stationed in Dornogal, between now and May 4th. This period includes all previous quests and content as well.

Additionally, upon finishing these storylines, you’ll now receive Well-loved Figurines, a special event-only currency. You can use these figurines to trade with Jepetto Joybuzz in Dornogal, Brundia Braidhammer in Stormwind, or Leial Knitterton in Orgrimmar for various rewards. These include the new Argos, Helpful Workshop Bot, and Goggles pets, as well as the Children’s Stormwind and Orgrimmar Guard Weapon Set ensembles, and even some rewards from past years.

In this year’s holiday celebration in World of Warcraft, there are no additional tasks added beyond what was previously available, including the For the Children meta-achievement. As before, fans who are aiming for the Violet Proto-Drake mount can still complete the necessary tasks to work towards it as part of the What a Long, Strange Trip It’s Been holiday meta-achievement.

During the same timeframe, Children’s Week has resurfaced in WoW Classic. Players in the Season of Discovery and Classic Era can find Orphan Matron Nightingale in Stormwind for the Alliance, and Orphan Matron Battlewail in Orgrimmar for the Horde. Fans of both factions participating in Cataclysm Classic can also journey to Orphan Matron Mercy in Shattrath or Orphan Matron Aria in Dalaran to adopt an orphan and kick off the holiday event. Engaging in these questlines offers a fantastic opportunity for players to gain experience, reputation, and adorable pets in World of Warcraft Classic.
