As a dedicated World of Warcraft player with over a decade under my belt (or should I say, tabard), I can confidently say that the upcoming conclusion of WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria is bittersweet. On the other, I’ll miss the overpowered abilities, endless progression, and modern conveniences that Remix offered.
As a dedicated gamer immersed in the World of Warcraft universe, I can’t help but feel a pang as the Mists of Pandaria: Remix draws to a close. Blizzard has shared some intriguing details about what lies ahead for the Timerunners once the event winds down on August 19. Here’s the scoop: our characters will be whisked away to our faction’s capital city, equipped with a modest set of endgame gear, and most of our currencies will be wiped clean. So, fellow Warcraft enthusiasts, let’s make sure we’re ready for this change – it’s time to stock up on supplies and prepare for the next chapter in Azeroth!
In this special event called “WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria,” players revisit the 12-year-old expansion with enhanced abilities, continuous advancement, and contemporary comforts. Fans can quickly traverse the eastern-themed expansion, earning achievements, faster reputation gains, and unique cosmetics, including the hard-to-get Tusks of Mannoroth from the Siege of Orgrimmar raid in WoW.
As a dedicated Timerunner in World of Warcraft, I regretfully announce that the limited-time event, WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria, is coming to an end. Mark your calendars for August 20 at 7 AM PDT, when the game mode will be shut down, and we’ll all transition back into regular characters. To help us prepare, Blizzard has provided a guide detailing what changes will occur to our characters.
What Happens After WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria Ends?
- The game mode officially ends on August 20 at 7 AM PDT.
- Logging in to each Timerunner after the event may take several minutes for the conversion process.
- Characters will keep:
- Level
- Unlearned collection items, such as ensembles, will be sent to their mailbox
- Gold
- Reputation
- Characters will lose:
- Gear and items
- Non-gold currencies (Bronze, Lesser Charms of Good Fortune, Timeless Coins, etc.)
- Quests
- Characters will receive:
- Item level 467 gear for level 70 characters, or lower item level gear for characters below 70.
- Four 30-slot bags and one 26-slot reagent bag.
- Automatic teleport to Stormwind or Orgrimmar for Alliance and Horde respectively.
As a dedicated fan, I’m thrilled to share that despite potential currency changes, the blog assures us that the reputation within World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria remains untouched. This means we can continue our progress towards the various factions without interruption. With my bulky bags and high-level gear (467, to be precise), I’m ready to dive headfirst into The War Within once it debuts shortly after WoW Remix concludes.
