Back in my day, the choices were limited, but now, the selection is as diverse as the races themselves!
As a gamer immersed in the magical realm of World of Warcraft, I can’t help but marvel at the evolution of mounts. Compared to the pre-expansion era, the variety we have now is simply astonishing! In those days, the selection was quite slim, and our choices were heavily restricted. Fast forward to today, and there’s a mount for every taste and adventurer – it’s no longer just about riding your racial steed. The game has grown so much, offering us a wealth of options that make our journeys through Azeroth even more exciting!
Certain mounts may be readily available to some, while others might require patience to secure. If you’re a player aiming to expand your mount roster, I’ll show you how to get hold of the Reins of the Llothien Prowler.
How to Get the Llothien Prowler
1. To get this mount, you need to finish a set of quests on the Broken Isles first. Before starting, ensure your reputation with all factions in the Broken Isles is Friendly and complete the “Uniting the Isles” quest if you haven’t already, as this will enable World Quests. Once you have access to World Quests, you must finish the “Nightfallen But Not Forgotten” achievement, which unlocks more World Quests in Suramar. This is a prerequisite for obtaining the mount.
Once you’ve successfully opened everything up, it will be essential to monitor the three Emissaries currently active in the Broken Isles. Look out for when one of them is representing the Nightfallen faction. Following that, finish four quests in Suramar and afterwards, pay a visit to First Arcanist Thalyssra in Shal’Aran. In return, she will grant you a Nightfallen Hoard. Containing various antiquated rewards, this hoard may also bestow upon you a Torn Invitation at random, initiating the quest “A ‘Noble’ Event.”
Being an experienced adventurer in this mystical land, I’ve come to learn that patience and persistence are key when it comes to acquiring rare items like the Torn Invitation. With a rather low drop rate, I can attest from my own journey that obtaining it might take some time.
As an avid player of this captivating game, once I’ve initiated “A Noble Event,” my subsequent goal is to tackle four Order Hall missions to uncover more details regarding the impending fox hunt. These engrossing missions carry the titles “On the Hunt,” “Securing an Invitation,” “All Dressed Up,” and “Just in Time.” I’ll wrap up these passive quests within twelve hours, and if my Champions are outfitted with adequate gear, I’m confident in achieving a 100% success rate.
Don’t worry if you fail a mission, as you can always repeat it.
Once all four tasks have been accomplished, there will be a character in your Order Hall who will accept the next quest from you. This quest is named “Volpin the Elusive.” Check your map for the location, which is close to the border between Suramar and Val’sharah.
Upon reaching the destination, eliminate Herald Gevedaun. This action will provide an update to your map with a new area for exploration. Volpin is adept at camouflaging himself in his surroundings, making him hard to locate. Refer to the image provided above for guidance on the location. When you’ve approached Volpin closely, there will be ruins adjacent to a tree. If your graphics settings allow it, Dalaran may be visible in the distance. Approach Volpin carefully and once near enough, three Nightborne Fox Hunters will materialize. Dispatch them, then right-click on Volpin to pacify him. Use the quest turn-in auto-feature to obtain the Reins of the Llothien Prowler.
