World of Warcraft: Legion Remix Has a Secret Achievement

In World of Warcraft: Legion Remix, players can unlock a hidden achievement called “Putting the Finite in Infinite” by either reaching a very high power level – 999 – or completing a particularly difficult Mythic+ dungeon with a Keystone level of 49 or higher. The achievement’s name is a bit ironic, as the ‘Infinite Power’ it references isn’t truly limitless, though it’s unlikely many players will ever reach that maximum level.

Legion Remix is a special, temporary event in World of Warcraft that lets players experience the Legion expansion with greatly increased power. As they explore the Broken Isles, players can earn a huge number of achievements – from easy discoveries to difficult challenges like completing the highest-level dungeons and raids without a single death.

Secret Achievement for ‘Beating’ World of Warcraft: Legion Remix

Fans of Legion Remix can unlock a particularly challenging hidden achievement. Called “Putting the Finite in Infinite,” it can be earned in one of two ways: either by reaching rank 999 in the Limits Unbound progression system, or by completing a Mythic+ Keystone dungeon with a difficulty level of +49. This achievement is a ‘Feat of Strength,’ meaning it won’t appear in achievement lists until you’ve earned it, doesn’t count towards your overall achievement score, and is purely for bragging rights.

Getting all 999 Limits Unbound achievements is a huge undertaking. Each achievement needs 50,000 Infinite Power on top of what’s needed to fully upgrade a character’s Artifact weapon. That means players need to collect roughly 50,000,000 Infinite Power total in World of Warcraft: Legion Remix to complete it. While it takes a very long time, it’s possible for players to do this on their own.

Completing a +49 Mythic dungeon is still quite challenging. However, dedicated World of Warcraft players have already completed much harder dungeons – some have successfully finished keys over +100 after fully upgrading their Limits Unbound. This suggests many players will be able to complete this task long before reaching the maximum rank of 999. Completing these dungeons also unlocks achievements: finishing a +30 key earns the Timeworn Keystone Hero achievement, and a +40 key earns the Timeworn Keystone Enthusiast achievement, both of which reward players with the Sargerei Commander’s Hellforged Regalia and the Infernal title.

Players have almost three months left to earn this achievement. Legion Remix concludes on January 20th, probably just before the updates begin for World of Warcraft: Midnight. While there’s still plenty of time, it’s a good idea to start now, particularly if you’re aiming for the Limits Unbound 999 reward before the event ends.
