World of Warcraft: Midnight – Finding and Unlocking the Triple-Locked Safebox Guide

One of the staples of modern World of Warcraft is treasure hunting.

Look, you don’t need to do the super-hard endgame stuff, but honestly, it’s still fun! Plus, it’s how you get a lot of the cool cosmetic items and outfits. And with the new player housing, it’s become even more important – I mean, how else am I going to fill my place with awesome decorations and make all my friends super jealous?

The latest World of Warcraft expansion, Midnight, immediately throws players into a series of treasure hunting quests and activities.

When you reach Eversong Woods, the first area of the expansion, you can start working towards the Treasures of Eversong Woods achievement. Completing nine tasks will earn you the Sootpaw pet. One of these tasks involves finding the Triple-Locked Safebox – you’ll need to locate three keys and use them to open it somewhere in Eversong Woods.

Today’s guide will walk you through finding the Triple-Locked Safebox, collecting the keys needed to open it, and claiming the rewards inside.

Finding and Unlocking the Triple-Locked Safebox in World of Warcraft: Midnight

Like I mentioned before, we need to head to Eversong Woods, close to Windrunner Spire.

You’ll find the Triple-Locked Safebox at the coordinates 38.89, 76.11. It’s on the ground, near an old cart and a lit torch.

You need to click this torch to get a boost that helps you locate the hidden keys. Without it, you won’t be able to find and collect them!

To find the first key, look east, past the cart. You’ll see a road leading towards the builder’s workshop and then uphill. Head towards the boulder at coordinates 40, 75.

The key is lying in front of the large rock. If you’re carrying the torch and are near the key, you’ll see a blue glow around yourself.

Click and loot it, and let’s turn around and head to the next one.

You can see a tall tower, called a Spire, in the distance. We’re going there, and will be using the ramp to enter.

After you get off the ramp, head towards the bushes with blue flowers on the left. The torch will then light up, showing you where the second key is hidden.

The third one is close by. If you turn around, you’ll see a big tree right in the middle of the path.

Let’s go straight behind that tree. You’ll find a broken-down robot ranger and some potentially aggressive bat-like creatures. Walk to the left of the robot and deal with any bats that come at you. When you do, your torch will light up, showing you the last key hidden near the tree.

Let’s head back to the abandoned cart and open the safe to see what we’ve found! You’ve won a Gemmed Eversong Lantern – a new decoration for your housing! Plus, we’re one step closer to completing the Treasures of Eversong Woods achievement and unlocking a brand new pet!
