The release date for World of Warcraft: Midnight is finally here! Players will even be able to start playing a bit early with early access options.
The opening cinematic for World of Warcraft: Midnight was shown at Gamescom, building anticipation among players. We now know the release date for the new expansion!
World of Warcraft: Midnight Releases March 2
Blizzard has revealed that World of Warcraft: Midnight will launch globally on March 2, 2026, at 3 PM Pacific Time. This timing means players in certain parts of the world will be able to start playing on the morning of March 3rd.
Even though the full Midnight experience isn’t quite here yet, players who’ve bought the expansion can get early access to housing starting next week, on December 2nd.
Now that ‘The Warning’ Midnight Prologue update is live, players who own the Midnight expansion can start building their dream homes! You can join a neighborhood, pick a house, and begin customizing it through the Housing Early Access feature.
Even if you haven’t bought the Midnight expansion yet, you can still start collecting furniture and decorations by completing activities and achievements. These items will be saved and ready for you to use once you purchase the expansion and want to decorate your house.
Early access to housing features won’t include everything the expansion will eventually offer, but it will give players a taste of what’s to come with a limited selection of items and options.
