Summary
- The campaign skip for “Undermine(d)” in World of Warcraft arrives on March 4.
- Players finishing the new story on one character can skip it on others by talking to Renzik or Paks.
- The final two Patch 11.1 story chapters, Ignite the Fuel of Change and Homecoming, unlock on March 4.
In simple terms, “World of Warcraft” has announced that the option to bypass the Undermine(d) campaign will become accessible starting March 4. This is only after the last two chapters of the story have been fully released. Once a player completes the new storyline on one character, they can then leapfrog over it entirely on their other characters.
In simple terms, Update 11.1 for “World of Warcraft” has been released, taking players to the underground Goblin city known as Undermine. Nicknamed “Undermine(d)”, this update advances the storyline of “The War Within”, where Xal’atath forms a delicate alliance with Jastor Gallywix to mend the Dark Heart, which was injured during Xal’atath’s previous clash with Alleria.
Players wanting to bypass the Undermine(d) campaign on their additional characters will have to be patient for a while first. According to a post in the World of Warcraft forum by community manager Linxy, fans will eventually be able to skip this campaign on subsequent characters after completing it once. This can be done by speaking to Renzik during the “When Opportunity Explodes” quest, or with Paks after that quest is finished. However, keep in mind that this option won’t be available until the entire campaign has been completed at least once and the final two chapters of World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 storyline aren’t set to become available until March 4.
How to Skip World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 Campaign
- Complete the Undermine(d) campaign at least once on an account.
- The final two chapters of the story are unlocked on March 4.
- On another character, speak to Renzik “The Shiv” during When Opportunity Explodes, or with Paks at any point of the campaign after.
Currently, there are four chapters accessible in the game: Trust Issues, Undermine Awaits, Uncovering the Truth, and Breaking the Shackles. The last two chapters, Ignite the Fuel of Change and Homecoming, will be playable starting March 4, with Homecoming having not previously been available on the Public Test Realm. Players won’t encounter Undermine until the second chapter, but fortunately, by completing the Test Run quest from Rustol in the city, players can unlock a teleporter that links it to Dornogal for their entire account. This means they won’t have to replay the story to get there and can enjoy the D.R.I.V.E. system and other new World of Warcraft activities on their additional characters before the skip becomes available.
As a gamer, I’m excited to kick off my adventures on March 4 with the start of Season 2 for “World of Warcraft: The War Within”. This date also signals the beginning of the Liberation of Undermine raid, where we gamers will fight our way across a new zone, aiming to reclaim it from Gallywix and his cronies. Not much is revealed about the Homecoming chapter yet, but following Gallywix’s defeat in the raid seems likely. This battle could even unveil the secret fifth Cartel for the Cartels of Undermine Renown faction!
