World of Warcraft Players Can Get 3 Free Housing Decor Items From Pinterest Right Now

Players of World of Warcraft can get three free in-game decorations through a partnership with Pinterest. All they need to do is enter a few codes on a dedicated website – they don’t even need to launch the game to claim them!

Player Housing in World of Warcraft: Midnight has been a major highlight for many. Despite some criticism regarding items available for purchase in the cash shop, the feature has largely been very well-received. Players are creating incredible designs, and many believe it’s the best housing system ever seen in a massively multiplayer online game.

How to Get Free World of Warcraft x Pinterest Housing Decor

World of Warcraft players can now easily get some new decorations for their in-game homes. Pinterest recently held a real-world scavenger hunt in London as part of a partnership with World of Warcraft. A player named antronoid completed the hunt and shared the QR codes that unlock three free housing items: the Backboard and Hoop Playset, the Bluebird’s Golden Cage, and the Preserved Gift of Gilneas. Luckily, you don’t have to travel to London to get them – you can simply follow a few easy steps to claim these rewards!

  • Head to the special World of Warcraft x Pinterest landing page.
  • Enter a name, email address, and the following three codes:
    • Horde Board – grants the Backboard and Hoop Playset.
    • Azeroth Inspiration – grants the Bluebird’s Golden Cage.
    • Kalimdor Collage – awards the Preserved Gift of Gilneas.
  • Generate the codes for all three items via Pinterest, then enter them into the Battle.net launcher to obtain the decor.

The Backboard and Hoop Playset is a fun basketball hoop decoration for anyone who loves the sport, especially those who enjoy virtual games. The Bluebird’s Golden Cage includes a cute blue-violet bird that flits around inside its tiny cage. And the Preserved Gift of Gilneas is a beautiful rose displayed in a glass case, with petals that gently fall over time. Considering the Worgen of Gilneas – creatures resembling Victorian werewolves from World of Warcraft – this rose is a fitting nod to the story of Beauty and the Beast.

The giveaway website experienced a temporary outage because of a large number of visitors, but it’s now back up. If it goes down again, it should be fixed quickly.

These special items are part of a partnership between World of Warcraft and Pinterest. Players can connect their WoW and Pinterest accounts through the game’s settings, then use a new in-game camera tool to share screenshots directly to Pinterest. This Pinterest feature will be available for the foreseeable future, but the codes for the three decorative items expire on April 6th. You’ll need to redeem them in the Battle.net launcher by May 31st.

Get Even More World of Warcraft Housing Decor Via Zillow

World of Warcraft is partnering with Zillow to offer two free decorations for player housing. You can get the Naturally Elegant Doormat simply by visiting the World of Warcraft section on the Zillow website. To get the Simply Adorned Vase and Flowers, you’ll need to browse the fake real estate listings on the Zillow map and keep refreshing until you see an ad for Greener’s Plant Nursery. Clicking the “Free Sample” button in that ad will give you the decoration.

After players get their initial decor items, they can buy more copies from three vendors near each city’s Trading Post: Tuuran in Silvermoon City, Gabbi in Orgrimmar, and Dennia Silvertongue (also in Silvermoon City). These vendors sell extra copies of all special decor items, including the Cuddly Void Grrgle plush, which will be available as a free Twitch Drop for World of Warcraft players starting on March 26.
