World of Warcraft Reveals Midnight Collector’s Edition

World of Warcraft recently announced the Midnight Collector’s Edition. This special package includes a beautiful art book, a collectible pin, and a replica of the Dark Heart. For $140, players who buy this premium edition will also get the Epic Edition of World of Warcraft: Midnight, plus these physical collectibles.

The alpha test for World of Warcraft: Midnight has officially begun in Azeroth, starting on October 2nd. This is a closed public test, meaning not everyone can participate yet. Each week, the testing will concentrate on different areas and aspects of both the journey to max level and what players can do after reaching it, letting people experience the new expansion firsthand.

To celebrate a big step closer to the expansion’s launch, World of Warcraft has unveiled the Collector’s Edition of Midnight. Along with the Epic Edition of the World of Warcraft expansion, the Collector’s Edition features the Midnight Hard Cover Art Book and a collectible pin showcasing Xal’atath and Lor’themar. Owners will also receive a replica of the Dark Heart – the artifact used by Xal’atath in World of Warcraft: The War Within and Midnight – which includes a built-in LED light, all packaged in a beautiful Collector’s Edition box.

  • World of Warcraft: Midnight Epic Edition
  • Midnight Hard Cover Art Book
  • Midnight Collector’s Pin
  • Replica Dark Heart

The World of Warcraft: Midnight Epic Edition comes with the full game, plus some extra goodies! You’ll get three mounts to ride, two companion pets, and special outfits (transmog sets). It also includes eight items to decorate your home, 2000 Trader’s Tender to spend at the Trading Post, and 30 days of game time. Plus, you can instantly boost a character to Level 80. As a bonus, fans are guaranteed access to the beta testing phase, will get early access to the Housing feature when it launches on December 2, and can start playing Midnight three days before everyone else.

Even though the Collector’s Edition costs $140, the Epic Edition is priced at $90, which means players are effectively paying only $50 for the artbook, pin, and Dark Heart replica. Plus, the Epic Edition comes with $15 of in-game time, making it the most worthwhile option when you consider everything you receive. Therefore, overall, the World of Warcraft: Midnight Collector’s Edition is a great value, but fans who are interested should purchase it quickly, as quantities are limited.

Please be aware that players who purchase the Collector’s Edition won’t immediately receive the in-game items from the Epic Edition. They need to wait until they can redeem the code included in the box, which will be shipped just before the release of World of Warcraft: Midnight. If you’d like to get these digital rewards right away, you can buy the Epic Edition separately, in addition to the Collector’s Edition. When your physical Collector’s Edition arrives, you can redeem the included Epic Edition code, and $90 will be added to your Battle.net Balance.
