World of Warcraft: The War Within Player Snags Every Achievement

As a huge World of Warcraft player, I’m seriously impressed! Someone just managed to get every achievement with points in The War Within expansion. It’s awesome, though I know it won’t last long with Midnight coming out soon. Still, for right now, this player has basically maxed out everything in WoW – that’s a huge accomplishment!

Achievements have been a part of World of Warcraft since the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, giving players ongoing challenges to pursue. You can earn them by doing almost anything in the game, from discovering new areas and finding hidden treasures to completing difficult raids and Mythic+ dungeons.

WoW Player Earns All Possible Achievements in The War Within

A dedicated “World of Warcraft” player named Xirev has become the first to earn every achievement in the game, including the latest expansion, “The War Within.” He’s collected a total of 6,661 achievements, earning 53,610 points, and has completed all available accolades throughout the entire history of “World of Warcraft.”

Some in-game accomplishments unlock rewards like mounts and titles, but the points you earn from achievements themselves don’t actually do anything – they’re just a way to show off how much you’ve achieved and track your progress.

What’s truly impressive is that Xirev has completed all achievements in six consecutive World of Warcraft expansions. He began this challenge with Warlords of Draenor and has continued to do so with each new release. Luckily, he only needs to focus on the new achievements added in each expansion. However, completing them all is still a significant undertaking, especially considering he’s been doing this for over a decade.

Xirev accomplished this by completing a series of incredibly difficult challenges. These included gaining maximum reputation with multiple factions, winning hundreds of player-versus-player battles across different areas, collecting many rare items, and finishing a massive 10,000 world quests – all famously time-consuming achievements. The War Within expansion also introduced tough feats, like completing 100 C.H.E.T.T. Lists from the Undermine(d) update and defeating the Mythic version of Dimensius, the All-Devouring, from Ghosts of K’aresh – earning the prestigious Cutting Edge title.

What About Xirev’s Missing World of Warcraft Achievements?

Some viewers noticed Xirev is missing a few achievements in-game. He clarified that two are broken, and three are seasonal challenges that aren’t usually counted. However, he has completed every permanent achievement the game offers.

Feats of Strength are accomplishments that don’t give you points, and they’re typically tied to special, temporary events or added content. Because they aren’t always obtainable, people who collect achievements often don’t focus on them.

Xirev is usually the first player to earn all achievements in each new World of Warcraft expansion, but this time in The War Within, they faced close competition. Player Aski finished just two hours later, completing their final achievement shortly after Xirev finished the Brawler’s Guild. Other well-known World of Warcraft content creators, like AnnieFuscia, consistently achieve 100% achievement completion each year, so fans are eager to see who else will join this select group.

Players won’t have unlimited time to fully complete World of Warcraft: The War Within. While the Midnight expansion releases on March 2, 2026, many of its achievements will likely be added to World of Warcraft on January 20th with the pre-expansion update. This gives players less than three weeks to see all the new achievements in the game, though they won’t be able to actually earn most of them until the expansion officially launches. Despite this limited window, players like Xirev—who aim to complete everything in the game—are already preparing to fully complete Midnight as well.
