World Series of Warzone 2024: Schedule, Prize Pool, Teams, and More

As a seasoned gamer with years under my belt, I can’t help but get excited about the World Series of Warzone! The prospect of witnessing 40 top-notch teams duke it out for a cool million is enough to make any Call of Duty enthusiast’s heart race.

The epic World Series of Warzone returns to the Call of Duty universe this year, promising an even grander spectacle. This time, the renowned battle royale competition will unfold in the dazzling cityscape of Las Vegas, Nevada. Over the past few months, teams have been engaged in fierce battles to secure a spot at the Global Finals slated for September. Now, all 40 qualified teams are geared up and eagerly waiting to commence the action.

World Series of Warzone Schedule and Format

The Warzone World Series takes place on September 14 and 15, making it a relatively brief tournament compared to other comparable events in the gaming sphere. Despite its brevity, this competition offers an impressive prize pool worth a million dollars. Here’s how the prize money is divided:

  • $50,000 – SOLOYOLO Tournament
  • $950,000 – Trios Tournament

It’s quite a confusing format for the World Series of Warzone, though.

On the initial day of the Global Finals, participants will engage in six contests. The results of these matches will influence their standing for the second day (or ‘advantage points’). In the second day’s events, teams will clash fiercely using a ‘match point’ system. This signifies that when a team amasses 100 points (with no match restrictions), they must win one additional contest to claim the top prize.

In other words, there might be up to ten teams scoring more than 100 points and being one victory away from winning, but the decisive match is what ultimately determines who gets to keep the trophy.

There’s a $300,000 prize reserved for the number one team.

World Series of Warzone Predictions

Last year’s tournament victory was claimed by the team consisting of Biffle, Shifty, and Sage. This year, there is high anticipation that most of this team could secure a two-consecutive win. Interestingly, Sage has formed a new duo with Swagg, while Biffle and Shifty have teamed up with Soka, a talented Polynesian player who previously finished in second place.

My money is on Team Biffle – this crew breezed through the Warzone category at the Esports World Cup. If the team can win big at the World Series of Warzone, they’ll be catapulted into the history books as some of the biggest earners in Call of Duty esports history.
