In the latest announcement, World of Warcraft unveiled three fresh color schemes for the Stormrider’s Attire transmog set. These new looks are accessible to those who have purchased either the Heroic or Epic Edition of The War Within. As an added bonus, each variant comes with a glowing version upgrade, resulting in a grand total of eight distinct transmogs for the lucky buyers.

The more expensive versions of “World of Warcraft: The War Within” come with numerous digital rewards. With the Heroic Edition, you’ll get a character level-up, currency, and cosmetic items like the Algarian Stormrider mount and its accompanying transmog set. The Epic Edition offers extra perks such as beta access to “The War Within,” 30 additional game days, and additional digital swag including Squally, the Storm Hatchling pet.

In the beta testing phase of “The War Within” expansion for World of Warcraft, players uncovered a quest enabling them to acquire three distinct variants of the Squally pet if they possessed the Epic Edition of the expansion. Now, Blizzard has disclosed an additional quest granting identical-hued equivalents of the Stormrider’s Attire for those who had purchased or the Heroic Edition. Similar to the initial find, these transmogs can be enhanced into a second, radiant version, consequently yielding players a total of eight diverse outfits as part of “The War Within” Heroic or Epic Editions.

How to Get the New WoW Stormrider’s Attire Colors

  • Purchase The War Within Heroic or Epic Edition, or upgrade the Standard edition.
  • Accept The Stormrider’s Bond quest from Kurdran Wildhammer in Valdrakken, which unlocks the following transmogs:
    • Champion Stormrider’s Attire, Deep Stormrider’s Attire, and Shining Stormrider’s Attire
  • Complete A Sacred Connection quest from Kurdran afterward to obtain the upgraded versions:
    • Sparking Stormrider’s Attire
    • Frenzied Stormrider’s Attire
    • Shocking Stormrider’s Attire
  • After The War Within’s launch, these quests will be relocated to Stormrider Bruelda in Dornogal.

In “World of Warcraft,” players gain access to the original outfits automatically and enhance them through racing events. However, for the colored variations and their improved versions, a questline awaits from Kurdran Wildhammer in Valdrakken. Commence your adventure during the “The War Within” Pre-Patch starting July 23, following weekly maintenance and resets.
