11.1.5 patch for World of Warcraft was initially rolled out on April 22nd. Yet, it wasn’t until about a month later that one significant aspect of this update, Horrific Visions Revisited, was finally introduced. This long-awaited addition brings an enhanced version of the Battle for Azeroth activity complete with fresh rewards, challenges, and achievements to the game.

Before diving into this novel feature, fans should keep a few key points in mind. First, the Hourglass of Horrific Visions – a system for enhancing gameplay during instances – doesn’t immediately reach its maximum capacity. Instead, only a limited number of Echoes of N’Zoth can be collected each week. To unlock all upgrades and earn the We Have the Memories achievement (a prerequisite to acquire several cosmetic rewards from Horrific Visions Revisited in World of Warcraft) will require a total of three weeks.

It’s also worth mentioning that some players have encountered issues with Sordormi, a recently added NPC ally designed to aid in Horrific Visions whether solo or in teams. However, according to Wowhead, simply having Sordormi present increases the health of enemies in these instances significantly, even without activating any difficulty-boosting Mask affixes. As it stands, including Sordormi seems to make the Horrific Vision experience more challenging.

Patch 11.1.5 has faced numerous issues since its debut, as certain features are locked for a month, and others go live filled with bugs and glitches. This has resulted in an unsatisfactory response from fans. However, World of Warcraft’s game director Ion Hazikostas pledged that the team would make improvements next time. Regrettably, the issues persisting in Horrific Visions following those assurances have failed to alleviate the situation.
