Wuthering Waves 1.3 Banners Explained

As a seasoned player who’s been sailing through the vast seas of Wuthering Waves for quite some time now, I must say that this event has certainly caught my attention! The upcoming phase two promises exciting new characters and weapons that will surely shake things up in our gameplay experience.

The latest version 1.3 of “Wuthering Waves” is now active, following several weeks of eager anticipation. Although the official announcement was made at the end of September, whispers and speculations about the upcoming characters and location, the Black Shores, had been fueling excitement for quite some time. Particularly noteworthy is the new five-star character, Shorekeeper, who has been drawing attention for her striking visuals, mobility, and healing abilities.

As a gamer, I’m excitedly counting down the days till November, when the fresh gacha banners will be live! These banners are divided into two parts, just like always. The first one, named “Wuthering Waves,” begins on September 29 and runs through October 24. After that, we’ll continue to enjoy it until the arrival of patch 1.4. During these weeks, we can anticipate the comeback of Jiyan and the debut of a brand-new four-star Resonator, Youhu!

Yangyang4 starSwordAero
Chixia4 starPistolsFusion

As a gamer, I’m thrilled to share that Wuthering Waves’ latest addition is their second-ever 5-star healer, and that’s none other than the Shorekeeper! She follows in the footsteps of Verina, and for most strategic combinations, excluding those with Jinshi, her Resonance Liberation makes her an excellent upgrade. During this special event, there are increased drop rates for the Shorekeeper, Taoqi, Yanyang, and Chixia. That’s not all! Players can expect a 5-star character within 80 Convenes, along with a guaranteed 4-star or higher item every 10 Convenes. However, keep in mind that with a total of 25 days to pull for her, it seems like we won’t be seeing the Shorekeeper’s banner again anytime soon.

In addition, the first phase’s weapon banner, Absolute Pulsation, includes:

Stellar Symphony5 starRectifier
Endless Collapse4 starSword

Comet Flare4 starRectifier

Notably, Stellar Symphony and Endless Collapse have been added as special weapons in the Featured Weapon Gathering. During this event, all featured weapons will see increased drop rates. However, it’s crucial to remember that the Stellar Symphony weapon associated with Shorekeeper is exclusive to the Featured Gathering and won’t be accessible through any other means once the event concludes. That being said, players can expect to acquire their desired 5-star weapon on their very first 5-star draw.

The second phase character banner, Prevail the Lasting Night, includes:

During the entire event, the drop rates for all listed items will temporarily increase. The first rerun character is Jiyan, an exceptional Aero-Broadblade unit, known for his powerful offensive and defensive prowess. His upcoming banner showcases a harmonious team of 4-star Resonators such as Sanhua, widely recognized as one of the top 4-star characters in Wuthering Waves, and Mortefi, who complements Jiyan particularly well.

Furthermore, the upcoming banner in patch 1.3 will feature a fresh 4-star character named Youhu. Although some players had hoped for Youhu’s appearance on the Shorekeeper’s banner, the anticipation builds as we welcome a new 4-star Resonator to the game. From initial impressions, she appears to be quite versatile in healing abilities and seems tailored for the sub-DPS role.

The second phase’s weapon banner includes:

Verdant Summit5 starBroadblade
Celestial Spiral4 starGauntlets

Helios Cleaver4 starBroadblade

In the game Wuthering Waves, the last two weapons tend to be considered secondary or B-tier options among players. Verdant Summit is often used in conjunction with Jiyan and Calcharo, but budget players might prefer the Guardian Broadblade instead. The Celestial Spiral is the new weapon available on this banner, emphasizing Attack power, much like Stellar Symphony. Interestingly, players are guaranteed to get Verdant Summit on their first 5-star draw.
