As a dedicated gamer who has been playing Wuthering Waves since its launch back in May 2024, I must say that I’m absolutely thrilled about Sanhua’s new skin “Exorcistic Adjuration”! This free addition to my favorite game is a testament to the developers’ commitment to their players. It’s not every day we get to see our beloved characters sporting new outfits, especially for free!

I remember the days when I was saving up Lunites just to buy skins or Sequence Nodes. Now, I can add Sanhua’s Yaksha mask and turquoise dress to my collection without breaking the bank. And let me tell you, this outfit really suits her mysterious aura!

I must admit that I was a bit jealous when Jinhsi got her premium skin last month, but now it feels like Sanhua is getting her moment in the spotlight. The fact that she’s one of Wuthering Waves’ permanent free characters makes this even sweeter.

To top it all off, the “Dances for Spring’s Return” login event sounds like a fun way to collect rewards and participate in the community. I can already imagine the excitement among players as we compete to see who can invite the most companions!

Now if only they would add a feature that lets us customize our character’s hair color… That would be the cherry on top of this amazing update!

Oh, and by the way, did anyone else notice how much Sanhua looks like she’s ready to cast some serious magic spells in her new outfit? I can just imagine her taking down enemies with a wave of her hand while wearing that Yaksha mask. Priceless!

In the latest announcement, Wuthering Waves unveiled the long-anticipated Sanhua skin for Version 2.0, making it clear that players can acquire this skin at no cost. Alongside Sanhua’s fresh look, Jinhsi’s alternative outfit marks the debut of the first alternate outfits in Wuthering Waves since its launch back in May 2024.

In its 2.0 update, the popular game Wuthering Waves will introduce several new features, with the main focus being Rinascita, the latest explorable region in Solaris-3. The arrival of Rinascita also signifies the introduction of fresh playable characters, Echoes, and quests. Although Rinascita is the highlight for Version 2.0, developer Kuro Games will also provide updates for some characters from Huanglong. In December, a premium skin for Jinhsi was revealed in Wuthering Waves, featuring a new dress, enhanced combat animations, and a unique weapon variant. Recently, another skin has been unveiled for one of the original characters as well.

On the official site for the game ‘Wuthering Waves’, it’s been announced that Sanhua has a new skin named “Exorcistic Adjuration”. This new outfit features a Yaksha mask and a white and turquoise dress, as depicted in its image. Unlike Jinhsi’s premium skin, the changes for Sanhua’s outfit are limited solely to her clothing. Players can acquire Sanhua’s skin at no cost by joining the “Dance For Spring’s Return” login event during Version 2.0. Since Sanhua is one of ‘Wuthering Waves” free, permanent characters, many long-term players may already have her in their game roster.

How To Obtain Sanhua’s Free Skin in Wuthering Waves Version 2.0

  • Participate in the “Dances for Spring’s Return” login event between January 23 and February 13
  • Players must reach Union Level 14 to claim rewards

In this game event, players need to extend a specific quantity of daily invitations to their companions. Additionally, fans can collect Crystal Solvent and EXP materials, along with Sanhua’s skin (temporarily free during this event). Following the login event, Sanhua’s skin will become a permanent addition to the in-game store for Wuthering Waves, priced at 1680 Lunites. Players may also acquire Sanhua’s Sequence Nodes as she will be showcased in the Wuthering Waves Version 2.0 banners, offering a chance to obtain them.

On January 2, 2025, the updated version of “Wuthering Waves,” named Version 2.0, is set to launch. Although Kuro Games has mainly been concentrating on showcasing Rinascita content, hints from past leaks suggest that this new version will include some additional features. Previous leaks pointed towards the introduction of a gender-changing mechanic for the main character in “Wuthering Waves,” and another leak suggested enhanced special effects for all playable characters.
