WWE 2K25 Patch 1.03: Major Fixes and Improvements Just Released!

The team behind WWE 2K25 has rolled out a new update, Patch 1.03, just under a day after early access players started exploring the game. This update doesn’t bring any new content to the wrestling game, but it significantly improves stability and performance, and tackles issues raised by players across various game modes.

The Standard Edition of WWE 2K25 won’t be available until March 14, but players who opted for the Deadman or Bloodline editions got early access starting from March 7 midnight local time. Despite being released just days ago when this article was published, the wrestling game has already generated a lot of buzz in online forums with both positive and negative feedback. Many are thrilled about new features such as high-flying moves off the barricade and visual body damage on wrestlers’ bodies and faces, but there have also been complaints from 2K fans about bugs and crashes that occur during matches across various game modes or in Create-a-Superstar.

The update summary doesn’t go into great depth about the specific repairs made to issues brought up by players so far, but it appears that they have tackled a wide range of game modes. For instance, in WWE 2K25’s MyRise mode, the team has acknowledged and investigated problems such as wrestler overall ratings surpassing the cap of 100 and AI-controlled wrestlers failing to respond during live events. Furthermore, the MyFaction mode has experienced issues like incorrect match duration records and player preferences for pin or submission mini-games from other modes inappropriately overriding default settings within MyFaction. This update is designed to resolve these problems as well.

Before releasing this patch, the team has been addressing issues that encompass Universe Mode as well. Players have mentioned that the game doesn’t save progress when they exit Universe Mode. Additionally, certain special weapons for WWE 2K25 seem to be missing from ringside, and some users have encountered a bug where wrestler portraits appear duplicated when the game is paused.

Improvements regarding stability and support have been announced for the gameplay modes The Island, MyFaction, online matches, and the Creation Suite in WWE 2K25. Additionally, Community Creations will address concerns about facial recognition with Create-a-Superstar tools and custom matches overriding players’ chosen match rules.
