The MyGM mode in WWE 2K26 is getting a significant upgrade from last year’s game. Players can expect more match options, a greater selection of General Managers to choose from, and longer seasons. MyGM is a fan-favorite mode where you build and compete with your own wrestling brand, and WWE 2K26 aims to make it even more engaging with these new features.
WWE 2K26 will be available on March 13, but players who pre-order can start playing on March 6 – just over a month before WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas. The developers at Visual Concepts have already shown off features like the CM Punk Showcase, four new match types, and a glimpse of new wrestlers. They’ve also been teasing improvements to existing game modes.

The MyGM game mode is getting a major overhaul in the latest version of the game, and 2K has released details about the upcoming changes. A key improvement is the expanded variety of match types players can create for their shows. Matches can now include up to eight wrestlers, with options like 5-way, 6-way, 8-way, tag team matches with three or four wrestlers on each side, and even handicap matches where one wrestler faces multiple opponents. Beyond the returning favorites, WWE 2K26’s MyGM mode will also feature new match types like Ladder, Battle Royal, Bloodline Rules, I Quit, Inferno, Dumpster, and the challenging 3 Stages of Hell.
Image via 2K The in-game weekly shows will focus on single-brand events, but WWE 2K26 will offer even more variety with its premium live events (PLEs) that combine stars from different brands. The game will feature 16 PLEs total – five returning favorites and 11 brand new ones. Classics like Clash at Paris, Battleground, The Great American Bash, Halloween Havoc, No Mercy, and Worlds Collide will showcase top talent in diverse matches. New PLEs such as Crown Jewel, Evolution, Night of Champions, Survivor Series: WarGames, and Elimination Chamber will each have unique signature matches and special rules – for example, Evolution will exclusively feature WWE’s female Superstars.

To support the increased number of playable seasons, each season will be significantly longer, lasting up to 50 weeks. Players can also give a mid-season boost to the stamina and morale of up to six of their wrestlers. We’ve expanded the options for choosing a General Manager, adding legendary figures like Bobby Heenan and Stacy Keibler, plus the mysterious Anonymous GM, to the existing 16 GMs. You can even create and use your own Superstar as a GM! Each GM will have up to 20 challenges per season, and completing five earns a Hall of Fame trophy – you can earn up to four trophies each year alongside regular season rewards.

For the first time, you’ll also be able to book intergender matches, though they’ll cost a bit more. Finally, the WWE draft screen has been redesigned to make sorting wrestlers by Ring Level much easier.
