The official website for WWE 2K26 has been updated with lots of details about the new game. This year’s version moves away from older consoles and brings back all the popular game modes from WWE 2K25, including story modes like The Island and MyRise, the card-based MyFaction, the strategy-focused MyGM, and the open-ended Universe mode – all with some new improvements. 2K has also confirmed that CM Punk will be featured in a special Showcase, allowing players to experience his most iconic matches and create alternate scenarios exploring what could have been if he had remained with WWE.
The game is getting some great updates to its various modes. MyGM is back, letting you manage a wrestling promotion with more cross-brand storylines and longer seasons – up to 50 weeks! The WWE Draft, previously only in MyGM, is now coming to Universe mode, which will also feature more promo options and a revamped Money in the Bank system. MyFaction is expanding with the ability to create intergender teams and improve wrestler cards based on team chemistry. For those who enjoy story-driven gameplay, MyRise is returning with choices that have a bigger impact on the narrative, and The Island will put you in the middle of a conflict between three factions battling for power after Roman Reigns’ reign ends.
