As a big WWE 2K fan, I’m really excited to hear that 2K Sports is switching things up with WWE 2K26! They’re ditching the usual downloadable content packs and introducing something new called the Ringside Pass. It sounds like a cool way to get extra content and keep the game fresh.
WWE 2K26 is introducing the Ringside Pass, a system similar to Battle Passes found in many games. It features 60 free and 40 premium tiers of rewards for players to unlock. By reaching tier 40 each season with the Ringside Pass, players can earn new wrestlers, ways to customize their game, exclusive items, and other exciting content.
2K Sports announced that the Ringside Pass Premium is a new way to get extra characters in the game. It replaces the old downloadable content (DLC) system and gives players access to characters they won’t find in the standard game, including today’s top Superstars, wrestling Legends, unique Personas, and some surprising additions.
As a huge 2K fan, I’m really excited about the Ringside Pass! 2K Sports is releasing new seasons of it throughout the year, and the first one is coming on launch day. But get this – it looks like someone over at the Nintendo eShop accidentally revealed the dates for the next five seasons! It’s awesome to already have a peek at what’s coming up!
WWE 2K26 Ringside Pass Season Release
The first season will be available on March 6th for players who already own the King of Kings, Attitude Era, or Monday Night War editions of the game.
As a huge fan, I’m so excited to mark my calendar! Season 2 is dropping on May 4th, and then we’ve got Season 3 on June 29th, Season 4 on August 24th, Season 5 on October 19th, and finally, Season 6 on December 14th. It’s going to be an amazing year!
We know when the new seasons will arrive, but we haven’t revealed exactly what each one will feature yet. We’ll share those details closer to the release of each season.
WWE 2K26 boasts the biggest roster ever for a WWE game, featuring over 400 playable characters. The new Ringside Pass will give players even more options and customization than previous installments.
WWE 2K26 will be available worldwide on March 13th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
