The Developer’s Direct event is scheduled for this coming Thursday, the 23rd of January, starting at 1:00 PM Eastern Time. You can watch it live on all Xbox-related platforms, such as YouTube and Twitch.

What Games Can We Expect at the January 2025 Developer Direct

Initially, Bethesda and id Software are planning to unveil a comprehensive look at their upcoming prequel titled “DOOM: The Dark Ages“. After the triumph of “DOOM” (2016) and “DOOM Eternal“, this new game transports players back to the early days of the Doom Slayer, set in a medieval era.
The Dark Ages” will have DLSS 4 support from the start. Furthermore, they’ve given us a sneak peek at more gameplay before its full unveiling which is due later this month.
Unlike DOOM, South of Midnight has offered sneak peeks of its gameplay multiple times throughout the years prior to its expected 2025 launch date. Compulsion Games, who gained fame for their work on We Happy Few, plan to provide a comprehensive overview of their third-person action-adventure title set in the American Deep South.
Excitedly, I eagerly anticipate the upcoming launch of Sandfall Interactive’s highly-anticipated RPG, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, which was unveiled last summer by Kepler Interactive. This year, we fans can finally get our hands on this game!
