PlayStation and Nintendo items are still available, though. Some think this is just a temporary glitch, while others believe it might be due to slow Xbox sales combined with the recent price increase. As of now, searching for Xbox on Costco’s website still returns nothing, even after a full day since the initial report.
After Microsoft raised the price of Xbox consoles for the second time in a month, former Blizzard president Mike Ybarra criticized the company. He believes Microsoft is using tariffs as a pretext for increasing prices, arguing the price hikes are actually about boosting profits and aren’t related to tariffs imposed by the Trump administration.
