As a big gamer, I was happy to see Xbox Game Pass add two new titles today, November 25th: Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden and Kill It With Fire! 2. I know some people are a little hesitant about the recent price increase for Game Pass Ultimate, PC, and Premium, but for me, the constant stream of new games makes it totally worth it. It’s become a really essential part of how I enjoy gaming!
As a Game Pass subscriber, I’m a little bummed to hear that some games are leaving the service on November 30th. They’re taking away some really great RPGs, including the newer Lords of the Fallen and both Octopath Traveler 1 and 2. It’s also sad to see Barbie Project Friendship go – I was enjoying the minigames and puzzles in that one. And for anyone into city builders, SteamWorld Build from last year is also being removed. It’s always tough when games leave, but hopefully, we’ll get some equally good replacements soon!
Xbox Game Pass Adds 2 More Titles for Subscribers
Two new games joined Xbox Game Pass on November 25th, including Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. Developed by Don’t Nod, the studio behind Life is Strange and Vampyr, this action RPG is set in the troubled settlement of New Eden, where a mysterious curse is affecting the people. Players take on the roles of Red and Antea, spirit hunters tasked with lifting the curse. Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden has a 4.5-star rating based on over 750 reviews, and is currently 60% off for those who want to buy it.
Joining Xbox Game Pass on November 25th was Kill It With Fire! 2, a lighthearted contrast to the more dramatic Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. Developed by Casey Donnellan Games and released in April 2024, Kill It With Fire! 2 is a chaotic and humorous game that might not be for those afraid of spiders! Players must eliminate spiders that have invaded the multiverse, and can team up with up to three friends online to do so. Armed with anything from everyday objects to high-tech weapons, players will travel to different worlds and civilizations on their mission to destroy all the arachnids.

As a gamer, I’ve been seriously impressed with Xbox Game Pass this November! They’ve been dropping titles left and right, covering everything I like to play – from the RPG vibes of Moonlighter 2 and the action of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, to the quirky fun of Revenge of the Savage Planet and the strategic challenge of Sniper Elite: Resistance. Just recently, they added two more that caught my eye: Monsters are Coming! Rock & Road – a really addictive tower-survivor roguelite from Ludogram and Raw Fury – and The Crew Motorfest, which I’ve been meaning to check out!
I was really excited by what Xbox showed off during their recent preview! They announced nine more games heading to Game Pass Ultimate in 2026, and a couple really stood out. First, the creators of Vampire Survivors are making Vampire Crawlers, which sounds awesome – it’s a deckbuilding roguelike but in first-person! Then there’s Reanimal from Tarsier Studios – I’m a big fan of their work, and this one looks like a creepy, stealthy survival horror game. Another one to watch is Armatus, which takes you to a demon-filled Paris – the developers also made Godfall. And finally, Tides of Annihilation is getting a lot of buzz – if you like fast-paced action games like Devil May Cry, Stellar Blade, Bayonetta, or even the challenge of Elden Ring, you’ll definitely want to keep an eye on this one!
Xbox Has Some Good Black Friday Deals on Offer
As a huge gamer, I’m really excited about what Xbox is offering right now! If you haven’t tried Xbox Game Pass yet, you can get a 14-day trial for just a dollar – seriously! And for those of us who like to own our games, their Black Friday sale is massive. They’re discounting over 2,000 games, with savings ranging from 20% all the way up to 85%! I’m especially eyeing titles like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Deluxe Edition, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Doom: The Dark Ages Premium Edition, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle – all of which are nominated for Game Awards, which is a great sign of quality.
