Xbox Game Pass users on any tier, including the Standard plan, can now access the game “Enter the Gungeon” with their subscription. Recently, new games added to Xbox Game Pass are distributed across different membership levels. While those with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate receive everything, Standard tier subscribers may have missed out on some day one releases in the past.

So far this month, Xbox Game Pass Standard subscribers have had a packed schedule. The excitement began when “Monster Train” joined the ranks of Game Pass across both Ultimate and PC Game Pass, as well as the Standard tier. On March 5th, “Galacticare” joined the Standard version of Game Pass. However, the streak was interrupted when “One Lonely Outpost” was added to Game Pass on March 6th, but it was exclusively available for Ultimate and PC Game Pass users.

Although Xbox Game Pass Standard members missed out on the game “One Lonely Outpost“, they now have access to the recently added game, “Enter the Gungeon“. This action-packed, roguelike bullet hell shoot ’em up dungeon crawler is available across all tiers of Xbox Game Pass, including the Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Standard versions. Released in 2016 to generally favorable reviews, “Enter the Gungeon” has earned a highly positive rating on Steam, making it an appealing choice for co-op gameplay among Game Pass subscribers.

In the game “Enter the Gungeon“, you can invite a friend to join you in local multiplayer mode for up to two players. To do this, both of you will need controllers connected, and then engage with The Cultist. It’s important to note that before co-op play is accessible, at least one run through the game must be completed first, so plan accordingly!

For now, subscribers can look forward to additional games coming to Xbox Game Pass this month. The action game “Mullet Madjack” will be available starting March 13, and on March 18, the online cooperative game “33 Immortals” will make its early access debut. With their subscription, players can experience “33 Immortals” and see if it effectively captures the atmosphere of MMORPG raids. Unfortunately, details about new Xbox Game Pass additions in the latter half of March 2025 remain scarce, but we do know that “Atomfall” will be added to the library on March 27 as a day one game.
