Xbox Game Pass now includes two new games: Relic Hunters Legend and Winter Burrow. Winter Burrow is the 200th game added to the service this year, and the 11th new addition since November began.
Microsoft usually adds about 150 games to its subscription service each year. However, in 2025, things changed on October 1st when Xbox Game Pass Ultimate surprised everyone by adding 48 games all at once. This unexpected release happened right after a price increase for the service.
Winter Burrow and Relic Hunters Legend Join Multiple Xbox Game Pass Tiers
Xbox Game Pass has significantly expanded its library this year. Just three months after adding its 100th game in 2025, the service now boasts 200 titles as of November 12th, with the addition of Relic Hunters Legend and Winter Burrow. Relic Hunters Legend became available on most subscription tiers around midnight local time, while Winter Burrow launched on PC Game Pass and XGP Ultimate at 8am PT / 11am ET / 5pm CET. This makes Winter Burrow the 200th game added to the service this year. This total doesn’t include expanded releases (like Ultimate games becoming available on XGP Premium) or Retro Classics. Games with versions for both PC and console, such as Football Manager 26, are counted as a single addition.
Winter Burrow Coming to Xbox Game Pass Premium in 2026
Considering Microsoft’s recent history and announcements, Winter Burrow is expected to become available with the standard Game Pass subscription between May and November 2026. Currently, it’s only playable through PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate because it was released on the service on day one. The game is a charming 2D survival adventure where you play as a mouse working to rebuild their abandoned home and find their missing aunt. Winter Burrow is another addition to the increasing number of relaxing and cozy games available on Xbox Game Pass.
Our next game update is this Friday, November 14th, with the addition of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. This completes the first set of games coming to Xbox Game Pass in November 2025. We expect to announce the next group of games around November 19th, and Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault will be available on Game Pass then, after a short delay.

Xbox Game Pass subscribers can look forward to two games in December: Routine and Dome Keeper. Based on how Microsoft handled releases this year, they might announce all of December’s additions—and even some games coming in early January 2025—in a single announcement next month, instead of the typical two separate announcements.
