October was a busy month for Xbox Game Pass. The company announced a new, more expensive “Premium” tier and a $10 price increase for its existing “Ultimate” subscription on October 1st. This news upset many Xbox fans, and a lot of them immediately cancelled their subscriptions to avoid the higher fees.

While the recent price increase for Xbox Game Pass wasn’t ideal, there’s been some good news too. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate now includes all the games from Ubisoft+, and popular titles like *Hogwarts Legacy* were recently added. To soften the blow of the $10 monthly price increase, even more games are coming this month – four titles will be available between October 21st and 23rd.

Xbox Game Pass New October 2025 Game: Ninja Gaiden 4

After a 13-year wait, the newest installment in the *Ninja Gaiden* series, *Ninja Gaiden 4*, is coming to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Players will take on the role of Yakumo, a new hero, as he battles through a Tokyo overrun by creatures from the Underworld to stop the Dark Dragon.

As Yakumo progresses, he’ll meet Ryu Hayabusa, the main hero of the *Ninja Gaiden* series and a playable character in the fourth game. With both Team Ninja and Platinum Games collaborating on this exciting sequel, fans are eager to see *Ninja Gaiden 4* revitalize the franchise.

Ninja Gaiden 4 is the highlight of what the developers called the ‘Year of the Ninja,’ following the releases of Ninja Gaiden 2 Black and Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound earlier in the year.

Launching on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Premium on October 21st, Evil West is a 2022 action game that combines third-person shooting with melee combat. Players step into the boots of Jesse Rentier, a member of the Rentier Institute, a hidden group dedicated to hunting vampires.

When Evil West launched in November 2022, reviews were somewhat mixed. IGN gave it a 7 out of 10, GameSpot a 6, and Game Rant a 3.5 out of 5. While reviewers generally liked the combat and the game’s environments, many criticized the level design, difficulty, and the fact that the game was relatively short.

Just over three years after the first game became popular, *PowerWash Simulator 2* is coming to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on October 23rd. As a day-one Game Pass title, players will get to meticulously clean different locations using a variety of powerwashers, soaps, and cleaning tools. This sequel builds on the original with new environments, jobs, a new type of multi-stage job, and customizable home base. Plus, you can now share campaign progress with friends while playing online or in split-screen co-op.

Xbox Game Pass New October 2025 Game: Bounty Star

  • Third-person action game that blends mech combat with base-building and farming mechanics
  • Players take on the role of Clem, a bounty hunter in a post-apocalyptic version of the American Southwest known as the Red Expanse
  • Players will be able to customize their Desert Raptor MKII mech with new weapons, thrusters, and defensive systems

DINOGOD is creating and Annapurna Interactive is publishing Bounty Star, a third-person mech game coming to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on October 23rd. In the game, you play as Clem, a bounty hunter with a troubled past, tracking down targets in a desolate, post-apocalyptic world called the Red Expanse.

In addition to a mech suit you can fully customize, players will manage a home base between missions. This base will expand as the main character progresses, providing helpful resources like food and ammunition to aid in combat.

The release of *Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault* on Xbox Game Pass has been pushed back from October 23rd to November 19th.
