Xbox Game Pass Getting 2024 Simulation Game with ‘Overwhelmingly Positive’ Reviews

The popular simulation game, TCG Card Shop Simulator, which has received very positive reviews on Steam, is coming to Xbox Game Pass in 2026. While still in development on Steam, the game is expected to fully launch in 2026, coinciding with its addition to the Game Pass library.

Okay, so I’m already hyped for Game Pass in 2026! From what I’ve heard, we’re getting some seriously big first-party games like the new Fable, Gears of War: E-Day, a revamped Halo: Campaign Evolved, and Forza Horizon 6. But it’s not just the big titles – it sounds like they’re also bringing in a ton of awesome indie games, which is great. I’ve been hearing a lot about TCG Card Shop Simulator, and apparently it’s already a big hit on PC, so I’m excited to see that come to Game Pass too. It’s looking like a really diverse lineup!

At the ID@Xbox Fall 2025 showcase, TCG Card Shop Simulator was announced as a future addition to Xbox Game Pass, planned for release in the first three months of 2026. The game will likely launch on Game Pass alongside its full 1.0 release. A new trailer showed off the game’s main features, which involve creating and growing your own trading card shop. Currently, TCG Card Shop Simulator has a very positive 97% rating on Steam, making it a highly-rated and popular early-access game in the management and simulation category – it’s definitely one to watch!

In TCG Card Shop Simulator, you collect, trade, and sell cards similar to Pokemon TCG. You can also fully customize your store to build a successful business. Host tournaments, open booster packs to find valuable cards, and resell them for profit. As your store expands, you can hire employees to help manage things. The game features a dynamic card economy where smart players can capitalize on rare card sales to boost their earnings.

In addition to TCG Card Shop Simulator, three more indie games – AWAYSIS, Darkwood 2, and Sledding Game – will be available on Xbox Game Pass starting on day one of their release in 2026. While specific release dates haven’t been announced, it’s currently unknown if these games will be available on all Game Pass plans. Microsoft tends to offer day-one releases on its most expensive Game Pass Ultimate tier, so these titles might be exclusive to that plan, with no plans for release on the Premium or Essential tiers just yet.
