Xbox Game Pass is adding more games in January 2026, including Death Stranding: Director’s Cut, which will be playable starting January 21st.
Okay, so it looks like Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus are both getting Resident Evil Village in January 2026 – cool! It’s a smart move timing it like that, since Resident Evil Requiem comes out February 27th. I’m checking out the full list of what’s being added to and removed from Game Pass this month, just in case I need to download anything before it’s gone!
Xbox Game Pass January 2026 Wave 2 Titles
Xbox Game Pass subscribers will have 12 new games to play in January 2026. Some of the most anticipated titles include Resident Evil Village, Death Stranding: Director’s Cut, and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. Notably, Death Stranding, typically found on PlayStation’s service, is now available on Xbox Game Pass, likely due to a new partnership between Kojima Productions and Xbox on their next game, OD.
