In essence, the beginning of this year for Xbox Game Pass was rather quiet, with most of January and half of February being sparse on new releases. However, towards the end of both months, games such as Sniper Elite: Resistance, Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, Avowed, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, and Watch Dogs Legion stepped in to save the day.

It appears that March might mirror a familiar trend, with only one title, Atomfall, confirmed for Xbox Game Pass at present. This game won’t be available until March 27th. While Atomfall seems like an intriguing survival game from Rebellion, it may not sustain Xbox Game Pass subscribers on its own. There are several other games that would make excellent additions to the service this month.

First introduced for PC and Nintendo Switch in the year 2020, the updated version of RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition has now given a fresh, contemporary look to the 2004 theme park simulation game. This enhanced edition comes with instant access to the expansions “Soaked!” and “Wild!”. Excitingly, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition is set to launch on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S in March. It would be fantastic if this game could join Xbox Game Pass, as the popular title Planet Coaster has not been included since 2021.

For over a year now, fans have eagerly anticipated that Resident Evil 4 Remake would join its predecessors, and the time seems ripe for it to do so. Although Resident Evil 4 is nearly two years old, it continues to spark lively discussions among fans, making it an exciting prospect for Game Pass subscribers to experience firsthand what all the excitement is about.

Furthermore, opinions within the community differ on the accessibility of Civilization 7, with many finding it more geared towards newcomers as compared to previous mainline installments.

Although Civilization 7 certainly feels more user-friendly compared to earlier versions, it doesn’t hold the title of being the most accessible game in the Civilization series. That accolade goes to Civilization Revolution, a spinoff released in 2008, tailored explicitly for console gamers to grasp the fundamental mechanics of the Civilization franchise. Luckily, Civilization Revolution is playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S thanks to backwards compatibility. It would be fantastic if it could also become available on Game Pass this month.
