The game Indika is now playable with an Xbox Game Pass subscription, and it’s available on most Game Pass tiers. It’s the first game Microsoft has added to the service in February 2026, and the 19th game added so far this year.
The Kazakhstan-based studio Odd Meter has a hard time categorizing their game, Indika, and for good reason – it’s a unique blend of genres. While mostly a 3D, third-person adventure, Indika sometimes switches to 2D pixel art. The game tells the story of a 19th-century Russian nun’s personal journey, and she’s accompanied by the devil himself, who serves as both a companion and a narrator you can’t always trust. Reviewers have highlighted how Indika successfully combines historical fantasy and surrealism while thoughtfully tackling complex questions about life, religion, and existence.
Indika Joins Xbox Game Pass for the First Time
The adventure game Indika is now available for Xbox Game Pass subscribers as of February 2nd. This is the first time the 2024 title has been included with the subscription service, arriving just before its second anniversary. You can play it with PC Game Pass, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, or XGP Premium. Normally costing $24.99 and taking around 5-6 hours to finish, Indika seems like a good addition to Game Pass, offering good value for subscribers.
Since its release, Indika has been very well-received, though it’s hard to fit into one specific genre. It has a “Strong” rating on OpenCritic, with an average score of 79 and is recommended by three out of four critics. As of early February 2026, players have given it 4.4 stars on the Xbox Store, a bit higher than the 4.04-star rating on the PlayStation Store. On Steam, Indika boasts a “Very Positive” overall rating, with 87.12% of over 2,200 player reviews being positive.

Xbox Game Pass subscribers can expect a new batch of games very soon! Microsoft will update its game catalog in under 24 hours, adding Final Fantasy 2 on February 3rd.
