The ID@Xbox Fall 2025 Showcase revealed nine new games that will be available on Xbox Game Pass the day they launch. These games cover a variety of genres, including multiplayer sandbox, strategy defense, and even a sequel to a beloved horror game. Xbox Game Pass subscribers already enjoy a constant stream of new games each month, and now they have a first look at some of what’s coming soon.
Xbox Game Pass is a subscription service, much like others for video games. For a monthly or yearly fee, players get access to a wide variety of games that are constantly being updated, including both older favorites and brand new releases. When a game is available on Xbox Game Pass the same day it comes out on other platforms, it’s called a “day one” game, and the recent showcase highlighted many new titles coming soon for Game Pass subscribers.

Xbox Game Pass will also launch with several new games in 2026, including Planet of Lana II, the highly anticipated sequel to a top-rated indie puzzle game from 2023. Players can also look forward to Aphelion, a sci-fi action-adventure, and Monsters are Coming! Rock & Road, a fast-paced tower defense game. The wide range of day-one games available on Xbox Game Pass continues to be a major draw for subscribers, and fans are excited about the recent announcements from the ID@Xbox Fall 2025 Showcase.
Despite some recent price increases, Xbox Game Pass continues to offer great value, thanks to its regular stream of new games, including titles available on day one, and popular favorites. Microsoft is clearly committed to growing its subscription service, with plenty more games already planned for release in the coming weeks and throughout 2026.
