Xbox Game Pass Subscribers Can Now Stream Another 48 of Their Own Games

Xbox Game Pass has received an early-year update, adding 48 new games to its ‘Stream Your Own Game’ library. This includes popular titles now available on the cloud-based service, such as Disco Elysium, Planet Coaster, and Just Cause 3.

Okay, so Xbox has this cool thing called ‘Steam Your Own Game’ that launched in 2024, but we finally got it on consoles in April 2025. Basically, it lets me stream games I already own through the cloud, which is awesome. There’s a catch, though – I need to be an Xbox Game Pass subscriber to use it. The good news is I don’t need the fancy Ultimate version of Game Pass! Any tier works, even the basic, cheapest Xbox Game Pass Essential plan. It’s a neat way to play my games on the go, as long as I’m keeping my Game Pass subscription active.

Xbox Game Pass has been updated with almost 50 new games available to stream. As reported by TrueAchievements, you can now play these games on various devices using cloud streaming, including PCs, Xbox consoles, and handhelds like the ROG Xbox Ally. The update includes popular titles like Just Cause 3, Disco Elysium, Planet Coaster, as well as other favorites such as Tropico 6, Little Nightmares 3, and Bloons TD 6.

Sean Carey from TrueAchievement noted that Titan Quest 2 has unexpectedly received an official Xbox Cloud Streaming tag, even though the game hasn’t officially launched on Xbox consoles yet. While Titan Quest 2 became available on Steam Early Access on August 1, 2025, and has seen several updates since, there hasn’t been any official announcement about a full PC or multi-platform release date. This Cloud streaming tag hints at a possible near-future release on Xbox, but it’s not an official confirmation from the developers, Grimoire Games, or publisher THQ Nordic.

Xbox launched its “Stream Your Own Game” service on consoles in April 2025 with over 100 games available, and it quickly expanded. Throughout 2025, hundreds more titles were added, including over 180 in September alone. Some of the biggest games joining the service that year were Silent Hill 2, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Resident Evil 2 and 3, Borderlands 4, Helldivers 2, and Dying Light: The Beast. If Xbox continues its “Xbox Play Anywhere” approach, we can expect even more games to be added to the service in 2026.
