Xbox Game Pass Ultimate now includes Super Fantasy Kingdom. This marks the 64th new game added to the service in October 2025, and the 186th new addition to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate so far this year.
Super Fantasy Kingdom, created by Super Fantasy Games and published by Hooded Horse, is a fast-paced strategy game with charming 16-bit graphics. It blends the challenge of roguelike games with the building aspects of city simulators and the defense strategies of tower defense titles. Players must rebuild their kingdom and protect it from waves of monsters that attack nightly. The game features randomly generated maps and power-ups, and a progression system that makes each attempt a little easier than the last, offering a roguelite experience.
Super Fantasy Kingdom Reaches PC and Ultimate Tiers of Xbox Game Pass
Starting today, October 24th, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can play Super Fantasy Kingdom. This city-building roguelike is available to those on the PC or Ultimate plan. It’s the first game to join the Game Pass catalog in early access since Endless Legend 2 was added in late September 2025.
Like many early access games, Super Fantasy Kingdom is currently only available on PC for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. Console players can’t play it, even using Xbox Cloud Gaming, probably because the cloud gaming system uses special Xbox Series X technology, and the game is designed for Windows computers and handheld devices. Microsoft has hinted that Super Fantasy Kingdom should be added to the Xbox Game Pass Premium library sometime between April and October 2026.
Okay, so it looks like there are just two more games dropping onto Game Pass this month! I’m excited because Halls of Torment is hitting all tiers except Essential on October 28th, and then The Outer Worlds 2 is launching straight onto Game Pass on the 29th – day one! Pretty sweet.

Three games will be leaving Xbox Game Pass on October 31st: Jusant, Metal Slug Tactics, and Return to Monkey Island. We expect to hear about the next batch of games coming to and leaving the service around November 4th.
