Beginning today, May 28th, users with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership can now commence playing the game “To a T” as part of their plan. This is the 15th new addition to Microsoft’s subscription service in May 2025, making it the 60th entirely new Xbox Game Pass Ultimate title this year.
In the latest release from Uvula, an indie studio established by renowned Japanese game designer Keita Takahashi (famed for creating “Katamari Damacy”), we have “To a T”. This game finds players stepping into the role of a 13-year-old boy whose body is permanently in a T-pose. His island existence takes an unexpected turn when he meets someone special, granting him a magical power. The ensuing chain of events leads our protagonist and his faithful canine companion on an extraordinary journey filled with whimsical characters, such as a loquacious giraffe who’s perfected the craft of sandwich-making.
On May 28, the same day as its PC and console launch, “To a T” was added to the Xbox Game Pass library. Being a day-one title, Uvula’s new game can only be accessed through the PC Game Pass and the highest tier, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, of Microsoft’s service. The Xbox Game Pass version of “To a T” also includes support for Xbox Cloud Gaming.

As an Xbox Game Pass member, I can enjoy playing “To a T” at a discounted price of up to $19.99 – that’s the full retail price! This game seems tailored for those who appreciate striking visuals, offbeat humor, and surreal imagery. It offers an interactive experience with a deeper message, focusing on themes of disability, adversity, and self-acceptance. Although it tackles significant issues, “To a T” doesn’t take itself too seriously. Early player feedback suggests the game maintains a balanced, whimsical tone that occasionally delves into absurdity, all while preserving its heartfelt exploration of disability, adolescence, and self-acceptance.
When Will To a T Come to Xbox Game Pass Standard?
As an enthusiastic fan, I’m always eager to learn when new day-one releases will become available on regular Xbox Game Pass. Typically, these games are initially exclusive to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass for roughly half a year, although Microsoft has hinted that this period could stretch up to a full year, or in exceptional cases, longer. Given this timeline, the intriguing game To a T might make its appearance on regular Xbox Game Pass somewhere between late November 2025 and early June 2026.
Over the next couple of weeks, two additional games – Spray Paint Simulator and Metaphor: ReFantazio – are set to join Microsoft’s subscription service. These games will be available starting May 28th. However, Xbox Game Pass will see some titles being removed on May 31st. Throughout June of 2025, it is expected that at least eight new games will be added to the service.
