Awesome news for Game Pass subscribers! They just added a really cool-looking adventure game called *Keeper* to the library. It’s the 56th game added this month – October 2025 – and the 178th one we’ve gotten all year with Game Pass Ultimate. Definitely gonna have to check this one out!
Double Fine Productions, the team behind *Psychonauts*, recently revealed their new game, *Keeper*, at the Xbox Games Showcase. Launching in June 2025, *Keeper* is a heartwarming, wordless adventure set in a post-apocalyptic world. The game follows the unusual friendship between a bird that resembles a pelican and a lighthouse that magically awakens and gains the ability to walk.
Keeper Lands on PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate
You can now play *Keeper*, a strange and imaginative game featuring unique creatures and environments, starting today, October 17th! It’s available on Xbox Series X/S, PC, and through Xbox Game Pass. Like other games launching on day one, *Keeper* is included with the PC and Ultimate tiers of the Game Pass subscription. You can also play it by streaming through Xbox Cloud Gaming if it’s available in your region.
When Will Keeper Come to Xbox Game Pass Premium?
On October 1st, Microsoft changed its Xbox Game Pass subscription options. The previous Core and Standard tiers were replaced with Essential and Premium. While the Premium tier doesn’t offer new releases on the day they come out, Microsoft has promised to add all Xbox-published games to the service within a year of their release. This means the game *Keeper* should be available on Xbox Game Pass Premium by October 2026, and potentially as soon as mid-2026 based on how quickly games were added to the older Standard tier.
Xbox Game Pass is getting five new games before the end of October 2025. Players can look forward to *Ninja Gaiden 4* and *Evil West* on October 21st, followed by *PowerWash Simulator 2* and *Bounty Star* on October 23rd. *The Outer Worlds 2* will then launch on October 29th. We expect to see the full list of October’s Game Pass additions (Wave 2) announced around October 21st.
