Xbox Game Pass Wave 1 Titles For October 2024 Revealed

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming experience under my belt, I must say that Xbox’s October 2024 Game Pass lineup is nothing short of a dream come true! The diversity and quality of titles being added to the service are simply staggering.

For October 2024, Xbox unveiled the initial collection of games available on Game Pass, which includes MLB The Show 24, Open Roads, Sifu, Mad Streets, and Inscryption.

In the realm of gaming, MLB The Show 24, the latest baseball simulation game, is set to arrive on consoles via Game Pass Standard on October 2, giving gamers the chance to create their own baseball legends. Similarly, Open Roads, an adventure/exploration title about a mother and daughter journeying to old family homes during a road trip, will debut on the same day for Game Pass Standard subscribers.

On October 2nd, subscribers of Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard have the opportunity to play Sifu across cloud, console, and PC platforms. Sifu is an action-packed beat ’em up game that offers immersive, third-person Kung Fu combat. This title incorporates a unique mechanic: each time a player dies, they age, making the gameplay progressively challenging.

Starting from October 7, members of Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard have the opportunity to test out Mad Streets, a humorous yet intense physics-based multiplayer game, on both cloud consoles and personal computers. This title offers an array of game modes where players engage in hilarious yet violent fisticuffs.

Least yet not unimportant is the game titled Inscryption, slated for release on October 10 across cloud, console, and PC platforms. This intriguing card game combines elements of deckbuilding roguelikes, puzzle-filled escape rooms, and chilling psychological horror.

Additionally, games such as Dyson Sphere Program, Everspace 2, F1 Manager 2023, and Scorn will be removed from the Game Pass library on October 15th.
