Xbox Game Pass Wave 2 Titles for October 2024 Revealed

As a seasoned gamer with a knack for seeking out the latest titles, October 2024 is shaping up to be an absolute feast! The lineup of Wave 2 Game Pass titles has me positively buzzing, especially with the addition of the much-anticipated Call of Duty games. Black Ops 6, Modern Warfare III, and Warzone are all set to join the roster, and I can hardly wait to dive back into the action!

It’s time to explore all the October 2024 Game Pass titles that are part of Wave 2, and there are some exciting surprises in store! Notably, we’ll be receiving various Call of Duty games like Black Ops 6, Modern Warfare III, and Warzone. Additionally, popular games such as the StarCraft Series, Dead Island 2, and others have made their way onto the list as well.

On October 16th, South Park: The Fractured but Whole will be added to Game Pass, Game Pass Ultimate, and PC Game Pass. This means it can be played via cloud streaming, on consoles, or on personal computers. In this game, players get to create their own character, the New Kid, who teams up with Stan, Kyle, Kenny, and Cartman for a brand new adventure in South Park.

On October 17th, the game Donut County becomes available on Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and regular Game Pass. Donut County is a unique gaming experience that combines narrative elements with physics-based puzzles. In this game, you take on the role of an expanding hole.

Starting October 17th, I’m thrilled to jump into the cockpit and explore MechWarrior 5: Clans, now available on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass! In this new galactic adventure, I’ll step into the shoes of a Smoke Jaguar pilot and command my squad through an expansive, heart-pounding journey filled with intense action. Can’t wait to suit up and conquer the stars!

Call of Duty Games on Game Pass

On October 25th, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 becomes accessible to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members on the first day. This game can be played on cloud, console, or PC platforms. Additionally, on the same date, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone will join Game Pass Ultimate and can be played through Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta).

Starting October 29, you’ll find Ashen, a collaborative open-world action RPG, available across Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and standard Game Pass. Whether you prefer playing it via cloud, console, or your personal computer, the choice is yours!

Following is Dead Island 2, a well-known zombie-slaughtering game set in the chaotic streets of Los Angeles. Players embark on an adventure to unravel the enigma surrounding the city while undergoing their own evolution. This first-person game will be available on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass starting October 31.

StarCraft Series

Starting November 5, Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers gain access to playing both StarCraft Remastered and StarCraft II: Campaign Collection. StarCraft Remastered offers players a chance to revisit a timeless real-time strategy game with enhanced visuals and audio quality. Conversely, StarCraft II: Campaign Collection unlocks the opportunity to delve into the widely-acclaimed multiplayer aspect of the game.

Game Leaving Game Pass in October

On October 31st, the following games – Frog Detective, Headbangers, Inkulinati, Lonely Mountain’s Downhill, and Mineko’s Night Market – will be removed from the Game Pass Library.
