As a huge fan of both Deadpool and Xbox, I couldn’t be more excited about the latest announcement from Microsoft! The release of the special edition “Cheeky” controllers featuring Deadpool and Wolverine’s iconic butt cheeks is truly a dream come true.
To mark the July 26 debut of Deadpool and Wolverine on Xbox, Microsoft introduced a unique “Cheeky” controller design. This special controller showcases Deadpool’s iconic backside. In keeping with their buddy dynamic, Microsoft also unveiled a Wolverine version of the wireless controller boasting “an authentic Adamantium-strong derriere, akin to Wolverine himself.”
An Xbox controller wasn’t satisfying enough just by having Deadpool’s backside, so they decided to include Wolverine’s as well. The Wolverine version of the “Cheeky Controller” boasts an exclusive design with distinct colors. This controller is adorned with Wolverine’s comic-inspired blue and yellow costume, featuring yellow joysticks and black buttons. Additional details have been added to give it a realistic tactical suit appearance.
Deadpool is famous for his outrageous behavior, and in honor of the unveiling of the Wolverine edition Xbox controller, a large billboard was erected in Alberta, Canada. The billboard’s caption reads, “My dear buddy’s cheeks have never looked more appealing,” displaying an image of Deadpool perched on the Wolverine Cheeky Controller.
The Wolverine-themed Xbox controller in the Cheeky edition is an unique item that can’t be bought like the Deadpool edition controller.
