A reliable leaker has claimed that Xbox is working on a Red Cipher Wireless Controller.
Based on a report by Dealabs, it’s said that Xbox’s upcoming wireless controller goes by the name Red Cipher, which is the newest addition to the Cipher series. Earlier, the manufacturers introduced the Sky Cipher and Ghost Cipher controllers. The unveiling of the Red Cipher is anticipated in January 2025, and it will exclusively be sold through the Microsoft store.
Xbox Red Cipher Controller Price
As for when we can expect the Xbox Red Cipher controller to hit the shelves, that information isn’t available yet. But fear not! The price has been disclosed, and it looks like this new addition to the series will be priced similarly to its counterparts at €69.99, $69.99, or GBP 64.99.
Besides its price, it’s worth noting that we are aware of the color scheme for the Xbox Red Cipher Controller as well. This controller boasts a translucent design much like the Sky and Ghost versions, with prominent red buttons and a back panel in a deeper garnet shade of red.
In addition to the red controller, the report also discussed the Xbox Sebile controller, which was previously leaked from FTC documents. This controller is rumored to incorporate haptic feedback technology similar to Sony’s DualSense controllers, and a patent for it has been spotted by Tech4Gamers. Unfortunately, no fresh details have emerged about the Sebile controller as of yet.
