Xbox Partner Preview for Oct. 17 Announced, Promises New Game Reveals

As a seasoned Xbox enthusiast with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I can hardly contain my excitement for this week’s Xbox Partner Preview! October 17th can’t come soon enough. With my trusty controller in hand and a heart full of anticipation, I eagerly await the unveiling of new games, gameplay footage, and potentially even release dates.

As an excited fan, I can’t help but share some exciting news about what Microsoft has planned for Xbox in terms of games! We won’t have to wait much longer, as the new Xbox Partner Preview is set to launch on October 17. This special event promises sneak peeks into gameplay and even new game reveals!

According to Microsoft, their “straight-to-the-point, all-games” show is set to broadcast this coming Thursday, October 17 at 10 am PDT/1 pm EDT/6 pm UK. The event, approximately 25 minutes long, can be viewed on the Xbox’s official channels on YouTube, Twitch, and LinkedIn. Microsoft has also made available a FAQ for the event for those who wish to learn more about it.

Xbox Partner Preview FAQ for October 17:

Does the event offer live subtitles in any languages other than English? Here are some options: Arabic (Modern Standard), Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Czech, French, Canadian French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, Castilian Spanish, Mexican Spanish, and Turkish.

After the gaming event, instead of heading straight to a local Xbox channel, you can hop over to YouTube.com/Xbox and find more than 30 languages there. Just look for the gear icon in the bottom right corner of the main stream, click on it, and pick the language that suits you best!

Will there be options for people with hearing or vision impairments to access the show? Yes, we’ll have English Audio Descriptions available on the Xbox YouTube channel, American Sign Language on both Xbox’s YouTube channel and the /XboxASL Twitch channel, and British Sign Language on the /XboxOn YouTube channel.

If I can’t catch the live show, where can I find a summary of what was announced? The Xbox Partner Preview will have a full recap posted immediately after it ends. During the broadcast, the Xbox Wire team will be publishing exclusive articles about selected titles on Xbox Wire (with localized versions available in Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, LATAM Spanish, and Japanese).

As an Xbox enthusiast, I want to express my gratitude for your co-streaming and content creation efforts during the Xbox Partner Preview. We strive to make your co-stream experience as seamless as possible, but please understand that unexpected issues such as glitches or disruptions caused by bots and other automated software might still occur, which are beyond our control.

What Games Can We Expect at This Week’s Xbox Partner Preview?

Microsoft has made it official that we’ll be treated to the debut of gameplay for Alan Wake 2’s expansion, The Lake House, as well as a fresh trailer for Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. We’ll also get a glimpse of various bosses in action for the game Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, and much more. What really excites us about these events is the possibility of new game announcements, and Microsoft has assured us that this will indeed happen. Gamers can look forward to multiple world premieres, fresh game reveals, and possibly even release date announcements.

Is it possible that we’ll witness the initial gameplay reveal for Gears of War: E-Day? As an enthusiast, I truly wish it is so. Here’s to hoping that whatever they unveil tomorrow, some portion of it may be available for play not too long from now.
