As an ardent gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I must say the latest Xbox Game Pass lineup has me genuinely thrilled! The addition of Atlas Fallen to the roster, following its Reign of Sand update, is particularly exciting. I’ve been a fan since its inception and can’t wait to dive back into the world of Atlas.
Today, Xbox unveiled the upcoming lineup for Game Pass in August, featuring Atlas Fallen among other games. Additionally, they confirmed that a new title will debut on the platform in September 2024.
The following titles are coming to Xbox Game Pass in August 2024 and the first week of September:
- Atlas Fallen – August 22
- Core Keeper – August 27
- Star Trucker – September 3
It’s now official: the speculations from last month about Atlas Fallen joining Xbox’s Game Pass have proven true, coming hot on the heels of its significant Reign of Sand expansion release. The Reign of Sand update was rolled out merely two weeks ago, introducing fresh enemies, quests, a New Game+ mode, and other features.
The newly announced blog hints at the kick-off of an early access Open Beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 starting on August 30th, as we’ve mentioned back in July 2024. The exciting early access period will continue until September 4th.
Beginning August 28, 2024, fans are able to initiate the download of the beta version. This open beta trial period will extend from September 6 to September 9, 2024.
It’s been verified that additional game titles are set to enrich the Game Pass Core collection on August 21, 2024. Among these new additions are Cities: Skylines, Control: Ultimate Edition, and SnowRunner.
In April 2024, Cities: Skylines 2 experienced a challenging debut, prompting Paradox Interactive to issue an apology for initial problems. Despite developers continually releasing updates, even going as far as overhauling the economy with a significant update, fans remain more fond of the original game.
