Xbox Series X Galaxy Black 2TB Special Edition & More Coming October 2024

As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement when I hear about new console releases! The Xbox Series X Galaxy Black Special Edition is right up my alley, and I can hardly wait to get my hands on it come October 15th.

Today’s blog update brings exciting news from Xbox: Three distinct versions of the Xbox Series X console are set to hit the market on October 15, 2024, one of which is a special 2TB Galaxy Black edition.

Apart from these, there are also two more Xbox console options. One is an all-digital version of the Xbox Series X, painted “Robot White,” which comes with a 1TB SSD. The other is a matching all-digital 1TB Xbox Series S in “Robot White.”

Today’s post indicates that the newly released options will become available in certain countries on October 29th. Additionally, it mentions that enthusiasts can place their pre-orders for the new console variants right now; however, pre-orders in Mexico are scheduled to follow shortly.

Starting from today onwards, gamers can start their pre-orders for three different versions of the upcoming Xbox consoles. These include the Xbox Series S – 1TB (Robot White), the Xbox Series X – 1TB Digital Edition (Robot White), and the Xbox Series X – 2TB Galaxy Black Special Edition.

As a gamer, I’m pretty pumped about the upcoming Galaxy Black Special Edition! From what I’ve seen on the product page, it’s going to set me back $599.99. On the other hand, if I’m looking for something from the Xbox family, the all-digital Xbox Series X in Robot White is priced at a more budget-friendly $449.99. And for those on an even tighter budget, the new Series S in Robot White is going for just $349.99. Exciting times ahead for gamers!

Today’s news was simultaneously released during Xbox’s live stream at Gamescom 2024, where they are also presenting several forthcoming games.

In February 2024, Microsoft hinted that they are developing an innovative and potent next-generation Xbox gaming system.

In May, there was a fresh rumor that hinted at the upcoming Xbox flagship console set to debut towards the end of 2026. According to this tipster, it is possible that the console’s launch may align with the release of the 2026 edition of Call of Duty, serving as its debut game.
