Summary
- Microsoft is expanding its game titles to all platforms, with Forza Horizon 5 and Indiana Jones coming to PS5.
- Both games have seen high pre-orders on PS5, with Indiana Jones holding top positions in US charts.
- Xbox titles are gaining popularity on PS5, prompting Microsoft to bring more games to Sony and Nintendo consoles.
In recent years, the landscape of the video game industry has undergone a substantial transformation, as companies like Sony have started adapting their exclusive games for personal computers, while Microsoft has been launching its games across all competing platforms.
A year ago, with whispers and buzz filling the gaming community, Microsoft made it official – they’re porting four of their exclusive games to the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5. As a gamer, I can hardly wait!
After seeing how well these titles performed for them on various other systems, they began to adjust their approach by aiming to release all their exclusive games onto as many platforms as feasible.
Additionally, Forza Horizon 5 and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be arriving on PlayStation 5 in April this year. These are the newest inclusions to our innovative strategy.
It’s worth noting that some of the forthcoming game titles are currently highly anticipated based on their number of pre-orders on the PlayStation 5 store.
In the current U.S. rankings, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has secured the top two spots. The premium edition is sitting comfortably at the number one position, while the standard edition takes the runner-up place.

Among the top 10 most pre-ordered games, Forza Horizon 5 holds the fourth spot with its premium edition and the fifth position for its standard version on this list.
Doom Is Another Game From Xbox Climbing The PS5 Store Charts
In addition, many enthusiasts have already pre-ordered DOOM The Dark Ages, with its premium version ranking 12th on the U.S. sales chart.
As a devoted gaming enthusiast, I can confidently say that these games aren’t just popular in the U.S. charts; they’re also highly anticipated in the UK and Japanese gaming markets. These titles consistently rank among the most pre-ordered games in their respective stores.
It’s quite intriguing that Xbox games are achieving significant success on the PlayStation 5. This success likely accounts for Microsoft’s efforts to expand the availability of their titles on Sony and Nintendo consoles.
A number of whispers circulate, hinting at an array of additional games likely to arrive on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. It’s clear that there’s a demand, extending even to classic titles like Forza Horizon 5.
Additionally, it’s important to note that the release date for the PS5 version of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is set for April 17. However, if you’re a fan of Forza Horizon 5, you’ll have to wait until April 29 for its launch.
