XDefiant EP Teases New Patch Coming Tomorrow, Addresses Server Changes

As an avid XDefiant player, I’m thrilled to hear that Patch 1.2 is coming tomorrow! Executive producer Mark Rubin’s recent announcement has brought a wave of excitement in the community, especially with his confirmation of weapon updates and matchmaking region fixes.

In a fresh post on X’s discussion board, Mark Rubin, the executive producer of XDefiant, announced that Patch 1.2 will be released tomorrow. He additionally shared information regarding upcoming server updates for the game.

Initially, Rubin announced a server adjustment aimed at improving matchmaking areas. Furthermore, in response to queries from fans, details emerged about upcoming modifications, which include the anticipated Patch 1.2. According to Rubin’s statements, this update is set to be released the following day.

One player inquired about upcoming adjustments for various weapons, specifically asking about potential nerfs and buffs. Rubin replied that some modifications will be introduced in XDefiant’s Patch 1.2, which is set to release tomorrow, and further mentioned, “we have more changes planned for patch 1.3.”

As someone who has weathered many game updates and adjustments over the years, I’ve learned to take these announcements with a grain of salt and focus on enjoying the current gameplay until more information becomes available.

A spectator made an inquiry regarding the possibility of including a server selection feature in last night’s system repairs.

Rubin expressed interest in considering that particular matter, but hasn’t set a definite plan yet. At the moment, there’s no estimated timeline available for implementing it.

Recently, Rubin spoke about the ongoing Spiderbot troubles. Not long ago, Ubisoft unveiled Season 1, complete with its update and detailed patch notes. In this latest release, players can enjoy the new Capture the Flag game mode, as well as an expanded roster of factions and maps.
