In a fresh post on X’s discussion board, Mark Rubin, the executive producer of XDefiant, announced that Patch 1.2 will be released tomorrow. He additionally shared information regarding upcoming server updates for the game.
Initially, Rubin announced a server adjustment aimed at improving matchmaking areas. Furthermore, in response to queries from fans, details emerged about upcoming modifications, which include the anticipated Patch 1.2. According to Rubin’s statements, this update is set to be released the following day.
One player inquired about upcoming adjustments for various weapons, specifically asking about potential nerfs and buffs. Rubin replied that some modifications will be introduced in XDefiant’s Patch 1.2, which is set to release tomorrow, and further mentioned, “we have more changes planned for patch 1.3.”
Based on my experience as a long-time player of this game, I can tell you that the developers are known for being tight-lipped about upcoming changes until they’re ready to be officially announced. With Patch 1.2, they didn’t give us any details about potential modifications for future patches, including 1.3. Of course, there could be plans in the works, but it’s just speculation at this point. Rubin expressed interest in considering that particular matter, but hasn’t set a definite plan yet. At the moment, there’s no estimated timeline available for implementing it.
