Once more, Xur has graced the world of Destiny 2 with his presence, bringing an array of exotic and legendary items for enthusiastic gamers to explore temporarily. Meanwhile, the Episode Heresy continues its course, introducing a fascinating turn as Bungie not only acknowledges an unexpected bug, but chooses to preserve it as a feature. As a result of this glitch, swords and glaives that were previously exclusive to specific classes in Destiny 2 can now be wielded by any class, giving players the opportunity to craft unique builds and contribute to diverse content. Bungie has opted not to rectify this bug, allowing for an increased level of creative freedom within the game.

It’s refreshing to note that Destiny 2 has experienced a shift, given its history of challenges and glitches. Although there are significant problems affecting the game, such as third-person animations malfunctioning, weapons becoming invisible, among others, some unexpected rewards have been dropping for Destiny 2 players. These weapons were scheduled to appear with Episode Heresy Act 2, but players have been receiving Afterlight, Boondoggle Mk. 55, and Anamnesis earlier than expected.

During the interim, the enigmatic merchant Xur has returned to offer fresh merchandise for players of Destiny 2. Where is Xur?

Now, Xur has settled permanently within The Tower’s Bazaar region, which means you won’t need to search for him during weekends anymore.

Because the Marketplace lies in between the two quick travel spots, players have the flexibility to select either one as their entry point. Make your way to the region where Ikora and Hawthorne are stationed, then scan for the Ramen Shop situated against the back wall. With the shop facing you, the alleyway where Xur is positioned can be found on your right side.

Destiny 2 Class Armor and Exotic Cipher

Every week, I find myself stopping by Xur, the enigmatic vendor, to pick up his latest offerings – quests, exotic gear, and legendary items. These tasks are crucial not only for procuring a second fated engram but also for obtaining legacy exotic equipment from the Tower’s kiosk.

I can grab a new Cipher by participating in Strikes or winning matches in the Crucible or Gambit. Plus, I get extra points if I team up with my clan members or tackle more difficult activities!

Xur’s Exotic Armor

Getaway Artist – Warlock gauntlets

Exotic Perk:

  • – Convert your Arc grenade into a Arc Soul and become amplified. The Arc Soul functions as an autonomous turret.

A strong choice for PvE tasks, this weapon not only boosts your firepower but also maximizes Arc bonuses such as Amplified and others. Plus, its roll is particularly good at the moment, making it an excellent acquisition for those who don’t own it yet or are looking to upgrade their current version.

Assassin’s Cowl – Hunter helmet

Exotic Perk:

  • – Powered melee final blows grant invisibility and restore a portion of health and shields. Finishers and final blows against more powerful targets increase the duration of the invisibility and the amount of health and shields restored.

For Arcstrider hunters, an excellent PvE choice awaits! This ability offers the unique benefit of making you vanish, but also enhances your survivability by providing both shield and health replenishment.

Mk. 44 Stand Asides – Titan leg armor

Exotic Perk:

  • – Grants an overshield when you’re sprinting at full health with Seismic Strike, Hammer Strike, or Shield Bash equipped and charged. Hits with these abilities recharge a portion of your melee energy.

Characters known for their powerful punches, they tend to excel in situations where teamwork is key, particularly in player versus environment (PvE) scenarios. While they might not be ideal for advanced activities, they can still provide an enjoyable gaming experience.

Xur Inventory Items

In the seventh year of “Destiny 2”, Xur’s inventory has received an upgrade. This update includes a proper ranking progression system, rewards, and focus options. Furthermore, Xur now offers items beyond just weapons and armor, such as:

  • – Larger magazine. Increased accuracy when firing from the hip. Picking up Special or Heavy ammo immediately reloads this weapon.

  • – Laser damage has three power levels that oscillate while the trigger is held down.
  • – Collecting an Orb of Power grants a period of maximum power that starts with an automatic reload. Sustained fire in this mode suppresses targets.

The Queenbreaker – Linear Fusion Rifle

  • – Hold Reload to swap between scopes and alter this weapon’s firing behavior.
