How to Unlock The Traffic Census Sensei Substory
To get to Substory #33, or The Traffic Census Sensei, I first need to advance my game to Chapter 12. Once there, explore Isezaki Ijincho and you’ll discover Daikokuten Street, right in the heart of the map. Keep an eye out for a labeled spot on your map with speech bubbles nearby – that’s where the man I’m looking for hangs out.
In this instance, you’ll need to explore the specified location when it’s dark out as that’s when this Side Quest becomes accessible. Once there, look for a man seated on a portable chair along the street. Engage in conversation with him to initiate the Substory.
How to Complete The Traffic Census Sensei
After chatting with the traffic surveyor, he’ll let you know that each time he clicks his tally counter, he experiences severe pain due to his tendonitis. He’s going to request Ichiban to take over his duties so he can rest during his tendonitis episodes. To finish the Substory, you’ll need to respond to a few questions.
In the initial round, the traffic surveyor, Shirabe Michino, will request Ichiban to tally the number of males walking by within the following 15 seconds. Later, Shirabe will inquire about the count, and Ichiban will respond with “Four men“.
In your next encounter with Shirabe Michino during our second meeting, find him at his usual spot once you’ve advanced a bit in the story. He’ll then ask you to count how many women walk by within 20 seconds. The correct response for this round is “7 women.”
Finally, you will have one more session with Shirabe Michino to properly complete the Substory. Approach him again in the same spot after you have spent some time getting through the story. For this one, he will ask you to count the number of men and women that pass by separately in 15 seconds. The correct answer here is “5 men, 6 women”.
