Moreover, since both combatants always display their Yakuza tattoos openly during these fights, it seems like a clash of beliefs as well, which makes these climactic battles even more significant and impactful.

However, in Yakuza 3, another fierce battle unfolded here, this time between Kiryu and Majima. By the fifth installment of the game series, Majima had taken control of the tower’s uppermost floor for his own family, elevating its significance within the storyline even further.

In the game “Like a Dragon,” although the main character changes to Ichiban, the Millennium Tower remains significant in the narrative. Over time, Kamurocho has morphed and transformed, but in “Yakuza 0”, set during the late ’80s when Japan was booming economically, it was a chic and energetic haven where Yakuza ruled the streets and illicit deals were often struck behind closed doors.

Over time, Kamurocho takes on an air of nostalgia, yet it maintains its enchanting allure and grandeur familiar to fans. Despite initial concerns that Kamurocho might be omitted from “Infinite Wealth” because of its emphasis on Hawaii, it fortunately reappears later in the game, preserving the legacy.
