You Can Now Catch ‘Em All in Escape from Tarkov SPT

As a long-time fan of Escape from Tarkov and its unique SPT mod ecosystem, I was absolutely thrilled when I heard about the latest addition to the platform: a Pokémon-themed mod! For years, I’ve been drawn to the depth and complexity of Tarkov, but sometimes it’s nice to take a break from the intensity and challenge the game presents.

Tarkov’s virtual world in Escape from Tarkov has a well-established single-player scene, named SPT, which existed before Battlestate Games introduced their PvE mode. The key distinction lies in the fact that SPT can be customized and altered through user-created mods.

A new Pokémon-themed modification was introduced to Escape from Tarkov’s SPT mod community by an ingenious modder. This addition lets players amass 156 distinct cards and arrange them into binders, enhancing their power with boosters. The most exciting aspect? Players can now showcase these cards in a freshly added section to their personal hideout.

Be The Very Best

Escape from Tarkov is known for its high level of challenge and difficulty in the first-person shooter genre. It’s one of the most demanding games available, refusing to provide any assistance to newcomers. While setting up SPT might be a bit intricate, it provides exceptional customization options for players seeking a unique gaming experience without encountering other gamers.

Discovered by Destructoid, a recent addition to Escape from Tarkov’s SPT mode is an amusing cosmetic pack named Collectables: Pokémon Cards. When combined with the Collectables: Card Case Mod, this transformation results in an engaging quest for players. The location of these cards remains elusive, and since they are randomly distributed, it might take several weeks to collect them all if you meticulously search every nook and cranny in the game.

In this version, the game now features trading card packs and individual cards as three-dimensional renderings. Players can view these digital replicas in detail through the item menu. However, since Nintendo is known for protecting its intellectual property tightly, the mod may not last long. For now, it’s accessible to all gamers to experience.
