Let me make this clear: I’m not accusing you, but it’s best to avoid cheating when playing online games. Feel free to do as you please in single-player games! However, when you’re interacting with others in multiplayer modes, remember that the goal is to have a pleasant experience together. In the case of Monster Hunter Wilds, be aware that modifying game data can lead to problems, as Capcom has recently confirmed investigations into unauthorized modifications affecting High Rank Investigations, Field Surveys, and more.
The post includes a stern caution: “Altered data may disrupt regular game functioning and potentially make the game unplayable. If you believe a mission has been tampered with, refrain from playing it or cease immediately. Capcom has conveniently supplied a guide outlining factors such as specific monsters found in a quest, where typically only one to two are present, versus the altered version which may have three or more. As advised by Capcom, be wary of starting a quest if you notice this.
In our upcoming updates, we aim to strengthen our security measures to identify and stop users who tamper with the game data without authorization. This is to protect other players from unwarranted accusations related to such activities.

As a dedicated fan, I’m excited to share that in upcoming updates, the developer has mentioned they’re planning to implement extra security measures to catch players who manipulate quests similar to the recent Doshaguma of the Hollow challenge. The specifics of these measures are yet to be revealed, but for now, Capcom is reviewing the final rankings from the latest challenge for about one to two weeks to weed out cheaters. If your account falls under suspicion, you can expect some restrictions to be applied.
To be frank, I don’t see the purpose of cheating in a game like Monster Hunter, where the difficulty is what makes it enjoyable. If you haven’t earned your rank honestly, it loses its significance, friend. Perhaps you might prefer playing old PS2 games with the big-head mode or similar features if you feel the urge to manipulate the gameplay.
