You Won’t Believe Every Star Wars Movie and TV Show Character Featured in Star Wars Outlaws

The expansive universe of Star Wars encompasses various timeframes and myriad planets. Yet, it’s fascinating how seemingly unrelated narratives are interconnected. Notably, almost every character in the Star Wars Skywalker Saga has a history, many of which are elaborated upon in novels or comics. These characters serve as the link that connects each Star Wars production, and Star Wars Outlaws, too, features this narrative cohesion.

Between “The Empire Strikes Back” and “Return of the Jedi,” the movie “Star Wars Outlaws” has always been an ideal location for appearances by famous characters, as the original trilogy is filled with both well-known and lesser-known names. Even before its release, trailers for “Star Wars Outlaws” hinted at a visit from Jabba the Hutt and the Carbonite-frozen Han Solo, but these were merely a taste of the numerous cameos in “Star Wars Outlaws.

Every Movie and TV Character Cameo in Star Wars Outlaws

Qi’ra

In the movie “Solo: A Star Wars Story”, the character Qi’ra was portrayed by Emilia Clarke, who is famously known for her role in “Game of Thrones”. Born on Corellia and sharing a childhood with Han Solo, Qi’ra was forced into slavery but eventually rose to become the head of the notorious Crimson Dawn syndicate. This criminal organization was previously led by Darth Maul. In the game “Star Wars Outlaws”, player-character Kay Vess encounters Qi’ra several times as she ascends the ranks within the criminal underworld.

Jabba the Hutt and Han Solo

It is hard to dispute that Jabba the Hutt, perhaps the most well-known criminal mastermind in the Star Wars universe, shows up a few times in Star Wars Outlaws as the leader of the Hutt Cartel faction. At one point, Kay Vess finds herself in Jabba’s palace, where she encounters Han Solo, frozen in carbonite and hanging on the wall near Jabba’s throne as a grim reminder of the Hutt’s wrath. Bib Fortuna, one of Jabba’s Twi’lek lieutenants, can also be met during this series of events.

Lando Calrissian

In the game “Star Wars Outlaws,” the captivating character Lando Calrissian, who once was a smuggler and then an administrator before becoming a rebel hero, takes on a significant position. He’s one of the ‘Experts’ in the game, offering unique abilities to Kay Vess. Furthermore, Lando shares the limelight with Kay Vess in the game’s first DLC, “Wild Card,” participating together in an intense Sabacc poker tournament with high stakes.

Darth Vader

Similar to both Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Survivor, the game Star Wars Outlaws boasts some thrilling appearances by none other than Darth Vader, the Dark Lord of the Sith. As the story unfolds, it is unveiled that the leader of the Zerek Besh, Sliro, is in fact a secret Imperial Security Bureau director who’s on a mission to locate Rebels concealed within the galaxy’s criminal network. In a chilling turn of events, Vader makes an appearance to intimidate the undercover ISB agent and ultimately removes him from his position as head of the Zerek Besh.

Hondo Ohnaka

Hondo Ohnaka, a beloved character from both “Clone Wars” and “Rebels,” is a Weequay pirate known for interacting with notable figures like Count Dooku, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Ezra Bridger during his journeys. In the upcoming “Star Wars Outlaws” DLC titled “Pirate’s Fortune,” due to be released in Spring 2025, Hondo will make an appearance.

Temmin “Snap” Wexley

In a more discreet role, Temmin Wexley is seen among the experts in “Star Wars Outlaws”. Here, he is portrayed as a scavenger within the series, though fans may recognize him better from his role as a Resistance pilot in the Star Wars sequel trilogy. Interestingly, he was played by Greg Grunberg, a friend of director J.J. Abrams during that period.

Teeka

In a less common appearance, the character named Teeka, also known as Expert Jawa, made his debut in the Disney+ miniseries “Obi-Wan Kenobi”. He was the merchant who sold Obi-Wan the T-16 Skyhopper toy, which he later presented to a young Luke Skywalker.
