You Won’t Believe the Hidden Memoirs in Welcome to Velvet Cove

Misplaced Chronicles: Blossom & Fury

In this game, players embark on a quest to gather various Memory Fragments by recording diverse scenes using their camcorder. As they progress, they can unlock certain milestones or rewards represented as achievements/trophies.

Some sections of the game feature isolated Memory Fragments, while others consist of multiple pieces that, when collected, reveal extended Memory Fragments like “Feathered Companions” and “Wildlife Encounters.

Players will initially discover Velvet Cove as the location where they can search for Memoirs following their exit from Swann’s bedroom. This area offers numerous scenic spots for capturing footage, some of which may be tricky to find. Uncovering each Memoir contributes to prolonging the gameplay experience in “Lost Records: Bloom & Rage”.

Every Memoir for Welcome to Velvet Cove in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage

In this chapter, players will find some peaceful music and breathtaking graphics that fans will surely enjoy. Immediately upon starting the chapter, you’ll come across some impressive scenes beyond a tall fence. Unfortunately, the deer may dash out of sight before you can fully capture it on film, but don’t worry! There will be another chance to get that footage if you stay in this area. Moreover, each memory will indicate how many components are required for its completion, and these parts can be gathered in any sequence.

The fence boasts multiple security locks; unlocking one of them grants players a reward or achievement.

Memoir Name How to Find
Hunting Players will see a wooden hunting blind. These are typically used to hide a hunter while they wait for stag to come into view.
Hunting On the bottom left of the hunting blind, you will see a stag moving towards the left side of the screen. This is your chance to get that stag footage from earlier.
Birds! Players should already have 1 entry for this Memoir from the previous chapter. There are several more, starting with 3 geese that all need to be in frame. They can be found on the island in the middle of the st
Critters After capturing footage of the geese, look opposite the stream from them to see a frog from the cutscene. You can see the geese from many angles, but it should be easy to find this frog by drawing a straight line from the stream’s island to the other side of the stream in the shortest distance.
Hunting Look to the left of the geese to see 2 deer on the side of the stream. Get them both into frame and capture the footage for your Hunting Memoir.
Critters Between the deer and the geese will be a squirrel sitting on a large rock.
Scenic View Look directly above the stream’s island to capture the sun’s light shining through the trees.
Hunting After getting the above Memoir parts. Continue to follow the trail while watching the right side. Players will see some arrows they can get some footage of for their Hunting Memoir.
Graffiti Players can get all their Graffiti footage in the following chapter, but they can pick up one early by looking to the top right of the arrows.
Birds! Continue down the pathway until you see a large sign that points to the Parking area. Open the camcorder and look either down or to the right to find a house finch. You can get footage of either for this Memoir.
Hunting To the right of the sign there will be a fallen log, and to the right of this log will be some bones. A prompt will reveal its exact location, even from a fair distance. Zoom in on this prompt for some footage of these bones.
Critters Walk towards the bones and then turn around so you can see behind the large sign. You can now get a clear view of 2 squirrels for this Memoir.

Are These Memoirs Repeatable?

Absolutely! Several scenes in this Memoir offer repeated chances. If you failed to capture the deer hidden behind the fence at the beginning, fear not – there’s another opportunity to gather some footage later within the same chapter. Following the scene where Swann observes geese and a frog, look towards the right side of the stream. There, you’ll find a stag on the other bank, providing an excellent moment for players to collect additional footage of a stag for their Hunting Memoir.

Similarly, the squirrel isn’t the only opportunity to capture this footage for the Critters Memoir. Instead, players can discover another squirrel on a tree to their left side while following the pathway. This squirrel will be located in a tree that faces the arrows used for the Hunting Memoir on the opposite side.

Another northern cardinal perches atop a sign, providing additional footage that will be useful for the Birds! Memoir, as the players are likely to have captured their initial shots already.
